Why did I suddenly gain height in my late 20s?

27M, 70kg, and for all I know, I’ve been 5’7 my whole 20s until recently. I know this because I had a visit with my doctor about 6 months ago and measured my height. I noticed that I look taller when I saw my full body in the mirror, measured myself and I’m not close to 5’9. No socks and shoes on. Is there any medical explanation for this?

Are summer sales really this bad?

I have 35 listings ranging from clothes, shoes, houseware, car parts, tech accessories on Marketplace and eBay and so far only have 2 sales since May. From June to this day, I only had 1 sale. My items are either brand new or very lightly used, marked 30%-40% cheaper than retail prices. Is the problem my pricing or the summer slump as bad as they say? Kept renewing my listing, deleting and relisting, promoting but nothing works.

Am I crazy for turning down a job because of the office/building?

In this job market, is it crazy to turn down a job (if they ever call me back and hire me) because of the place/building I will be working in? I interviewed for a sales position, mediocre salary, mediocre everything, but the office location is situated in this depressing looking business park, the building seems old, it has certain vibes while being in it, and just overall just not feeling it.

For some reason, I hate business parks and industrial parks/warehouses because for me, i don’t know why it looks depressing especially on winter.

Sick of buyers comparing my price to online prices

Most buyers for my items compares online pricing to my pricing. My item would be priced $50 and they would say it’s $45 online so can you do $40? Huh? No? Im selling convenience here too besides of the fact that its brand new. That online price is $45 but add the t@x, shipping fee, etc and it’ll be $60+.

Am I the problem or Calgary job market is one of the worst?

For reference I have a diploma on business administration majored in finance and an upcoming graduate for bachelors of commerce in few months. I have 2 years of supervisor experience at a fast food and 6 years manager experience on a high end (ish) casual sit down restaurant. Told myself i would never go back to food industry as I developed mental crisis working there, broke down so many times. Been applying to any corporate jobs to use my diploma and soon to be degree. Applied to countless jobs, from admin, sales, marketing, accounting, anything really. Tailored my resume to specific job, changed and edited my resume 4-5x taking advice from “resume experts advice” online. Networked on LinkedIn. Anything at this point. 0 interviews, 2 phone screening that ghosted me after. Feels really depressing waking up everyday reading rejection emails.

Been trying to get a job in corporate on any position like admin assistant, to sales, business development, accounting, AR/AP, and marketing just to jumpstart my career as I came from restaurant industry. Currently a part time accounting student, with about a year or so left to graduate. What am I doing wrong and what can I improve? Please take a look at my resume and let me know.

Why do G35 and G37 drivers think they’re driving an F1 car?

Title. I’m no means a car guy hence the question. I noticed drivers with this type of car in my city are usually so reckless.

200% increase on auto insurance?

29M, has about 10 years of driving record. 1 hail claim which resulted to total, and 1 at fault claim due to skidding on black ice last winter and smashing in to a pole totaling my car which resulted to a total again. Now drives a second hand model Y Tesla. Used to pay $498 on insurance on this Tesla but i got an email for renewal now and they’re asking $1300+ which is ridiculous to me. Sure insurance on EVs are high by default and 2 claims but is it normal to increase by this much in Alberta? Also can I can I cancel this and shop around? First installment would be one on August.

Cant hit my daily protein intake target

Hello, I am 27M, skinny fat build due to garbage diet on my previous years but been seeing some progress lately, been working out and trying to build muscle for body recomposition for almost 3 months now and I am struggling so hard to hit my daily protein intake. Problem is, I’m just not hungry at all pretty much the whole day and I get too full so fast. I try yo eat rice and chicken breast on my meal and 4-5 spoonful bites and I get full. I rely heavily on protein shake to hit my target but that too makes me feel full in a bad way. I feel so bloated when I take protein shake. Some days I’m just not hungry at all. I would eat my first meal at 4PM and a protein snack at night or sometimes I force myself to eat. Anyone else struggle with this and how can i fix this?

Thank you

[7YoE, Unemployed, Sales/Inside Sales/Consulting, Canada]

Hello everyone. I used to work in hospitality industry for 7 years as stated on my resume, was recently as a manager but impulsively quit my job due to mental and physical stress (wrong decision) and did not have plan B. Been unemployed for 3 months now looking for any entry level sales or consulting jobs to use my education experience but only landed 2 phone screening out of 500+ applications. Still currently in school part time for night and weekend classes doing 2 classes for the upcoming semester. Is there anything I can improve on my resume? Or perhaps other industry I can try to get into besides sales?

Stinky people at the gym

How do you guys deal with absolutely smelly people at the gym? Are people nose blind? Do they just suck it up and pretend? Or they just don’t care? Everyday I feel like I encounter smelly people at the gym but today is just extra ordinary. This one guy just STINKS like a combination of BO and dirty laundry and cultural food smell. It stinks that I had to stop my workout, cover my nose and move somewhere else but it seems like some people around him is unbothered. How? Howwww?

Today I thawed the chicken breast and the day after saw these black part on one breast. Is it already bad ? Chicken was vacuum sealed from the store with some “liquid” inside. Not sure what the liquid was.

Protein whey that wont make you feel bloated

Pretty much the title. Looking for protein shake that wouldn’t make me feel bloated and my stomach about to explode. I tried about 30+ brands of protein shake, including isolate, also tried using it with water, milk, almond milk, oat milk, but nothing works. Also tried taking lesser scoop but every time I drink whey, I always feel super full in a bad way, and feels like my stomach bout to explode from bloating and I hate this feeling.

Any recommendations?
