I'm unsure about sending cold emails

Hi everyone!

I want to create a cold email service to help marketing agencies get clients.

The problem is that I’m not really sure how to build the system.

Let me explain.

Right now, I offer copywriting services, and every client I’ve landed has come through cold email.

I’ve used my copywriting skills to write a really strong cold email.

I’m getting a 12% reply rate.

What I do is use a template where I change a few lines of text to personalize the message and make it relevant to the person I’m contacting.

I send 10 emails a day, which is very low, I know, plus the follow-up emails. The follow-ups aren’t personalized; it’s the same message for everyone.

The idea is to run cold email campaigns for marketing agencies to help them get more client opportunities.

The problem is that I’m not really sure how to offer this service at scale.

Right now, I look for prospects one by one in a very personalized way. That way, I make sure I’m emailing a real potential client and not just a generic list from a database.

If I offer this service to companies, it would literally be impossible for me to manually find all the leads to email, because it would take way too much time.

I also don’t see how I could personalize the messages that much for the same reason: it would take way too much time.

I’ve also seen that people who do cold email have complex AI systems set up with tools like n8n, Claude Code, etc. Right now, all I use is Instantly and Mailersend, nothing else.

I wanted to ask for help here and see if anyone can give me a bit of a roadmap for what I’d need to do in order to offer this service. I’m quite confused, so here are my questions:

  1. How many emails should I send per day per client?
  2. Should I use automations like n8n, Claude Code, etc. to move faster? Which ones are essential?
  3. If a client hires me, should I set up their own Instantly account with their own domains? How many domains do you recommend? Or should I use an Instantly account where I already have lots of warmed-up domains and assign a set of domains to each client?
  4. Is there any video/course you’d recommend that teaches a system for offering this service?

Any other advice you can give me would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

P.S. This business may be more common in other countries, but here in Spain there’s practically nobody doing it. That’s why I don’t have much information.

I'm not sure which copywriting service to offer

Hello, everyone!

For the past couple of years, I’ve been working as a copywriter in Spain for info-product creators.

After talking to several of them, they’re telling me that the info-product market is seeing declining sales because of the whole AI thing.

People are paying less and less for information and asking ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever AI is trending more and more.

The thing is, I want to get ahead of the curve before things get worse and shake up the industry a bit.

But I have a problem.

I think that these days, there’s not much more profit to be made from copywriting skills by offering services other than managing an info-product creator’s text-based sales strategy.

I could offer my services to marketing agencies. But either they already have AI doing the work for them, or they already have a copywriter on staff, or they offer me laughably low salaries (here in Spain).

I’d like to ask for help here to see if you know of any other sectors where I can offer copywriting services that aren’t in a declining market.

Thanks!!

Problem with customer emails ending up in the SPAM folder

Hello, everyone!

I have a client who hasn’t sent a single email in years.

He’s just started sending emails, and they’re all ending up in SPAM. Plus, it’s completely ruined his domain’s reputation.

Now he wants me to fix this issue, but I’m not quite sure how to do it.

I’m very familiar with cold emails because I use them to find clients. I know about Instantly for warming up email accounts.

Should I sign up for an Instantly plan with his domain and run it for a month to see if it improves the health?

Do you recommend any other way?

P.S. I’d like to know if I can keep sending emails while I’m warming up the domain.

What are your best cold-emailing tools?

Hi!

I thought I’d put together a post listing the tools you use for cold outreach.

I think it could be helpful for sharing and getting ideas about tools that some people use and others don’t.

To be honest, I don’t make my living from cold emailing, but I do use it to find clients. Instantly and Apollo work well for me.

What tools do you use?

Who can I offer my cold calling services to?

Hi!

I’ve been sending out emails offering my copywriting services for over a year now, and honestly, it’s worked really well for me.

A response rate of 12.4%.

I’ve been thinking about offering these services in my country (it’s not the U.S., and here in Spain I haven’t seen almost anyone doing it), but I’m not quite sure how to approach it.

What kind of company should I target with these services?

My fee for setting up the entire system will be €2,500–4,000 (I still need to finalize that). But it has to be a company with a certain budget so I can recoup my investment in the service with just 2–3 clients.

Who should I reach out to?

Hi!

Let me give you a little background.

I have a client who hasn’t sent an email in over a year. Suddenly, they started sending emails before hiring my services, and the response from the list has been terrible.

And for good reason.

We’ve cleaned up the list, but nothing’s changed—the emails are still ending up in SPAM.

The strategies I know of basically involve:

Moving the first email from the SPAM/Promotions folder to the main inbox.

Responding to the first email by asking a question or offering something free exclusively to those who reply.

I use cold outreach tools myself; I know these tools have the option to gradually “warm up” an email list.

The problem with this is that it takes 1–2 months, and you also can’t send emails to the list until it’s in good health (which isn’t in the business’s best interest).

Do you know of any other strategies? I don’t know what else to do!

Thanks!!!
