I designed a 3D map of downtown Buffalo using LiDAR data

I've been making maps for a few years now. 3D printing has also been a hobby of mine for about 10 years now and this is a great way to put that hobby to use.

I make my buildings from Lidar data, which requires quite a few hours of manual cleanup to get them looking nice for 3D printing.

It should be pretty up to date as I always go and look for newly constructed buildings to manually model as well, but it's always possible that I missed something. I try my best though!

Just tried setting up an SSD as my boot device. "Unmountable: unsupported or no file system"

I went through this guide to setup a brand new SSD at my boot drive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePXgK5eQFK4

The process itself looked fine. I didn't get any error messages or anything like that.

However, after I tried rebooting it looks like it's still booting via USB, and it mentions "Unmountable: unsupported or no file system" for this boot device SSD.

Any ideas? At this point it's not clear what I should do.

EDIT: I resolved the issue.
I took another look inside the computer and found that this SSD was plugged into a PCI expansion port (I thought I grabbed a different port's cable but apparently not). I switched the sata cables around on this SSD and another one of the HDDs and that seems to have done the trick. It's now booting from this SSD successfully.

I want to switch to SSD booting. I need to remove a drive from the array first. How do I move the data from a drive to the other array drives?

My motherboard only has one nvme slot which is being used for a cache drive, but I still want to switch to booting from an SSD which means I need to remove a drive from the array.

I'm fine with that though as I have a couple drives in here that are getting old anyway, and they're only 3TB in size.

How do I move the data from one of those 3TB drives to the other drives? I know Unbalanced used to be the go to for this type of thing, but is it still the best way to go these days?

Steam Input has a long way to go. Here is a quick example showing one issue I just noticed.

I just got my Steam Controller so I figured I'd boot up Balatro and just try making a new mouse and keyboard based profile.

The very first thing I tried doing was setting it so two of the back buttons (L4 and R4) would sort my hand.

Does anyone know what is going on here? Why isn't this working? I think I set it up as most typical users would for this type of profile if they were wanting to get into Steam Input.

Side note: Another annoying issue I'm seeing is that during this testing, if I remove a button's command it scrolls the list to the top. I then have to scroll back down to where I was each time. It's a bit frustrating and disorienting. Just keep my position please.

I design 3d city maps using lidar data! I just wrapped up the latest city, Baltimore

I've been into both maps and 3D printing for quite a while, so I've been making 3D city maps. It's a fun mashup of hobbies!

Very happy with how this downtown Baltimore map turned out. The water front makes for a great feature for it.

Just to clarify, I don't just use an online tool to quick generate a map for me. I use Lidar data (which is basically laser scans of cities from an aircraft) which requires a ton of manual clean up work. It's worth it though as this gives me as much detail for the buildings as possible. Here is a quick comparison of the type of map that I make vs what most people do: https://imgur.com/a/STX96Li

I typically don't share a store link on this subreddit, but I noticed it looks like the rules say to source my post. I sell these maps as a side hustle, and you can find them over at: https://metromap3d.com

I offer these finished maps as a bit of a side hustle at the moment, so if you want one you can take a look over at. I have a handful of cities at this point.

How do I fix this leaky spigot?

I tried tightening the screw at the front but that didn't I wasn't able to make it move much.

Any guidance would be appreciated!
