We've recently got an EV but we cannot charge at home. We currently use the Plugsurf subscription (~12 chf per month) to fast charge at plenitude on the road at Seftigenstrasse for 0.54 CHF/kWh. Since we will charge regularly, I wonder whether there is any cheaper deal (the amount of charging networks and cards is crazy). It should be fast charge.

Generally pretty happy owner of my P4. But I find the app quite unintuitive and don't really see the reason for certain choices.

- The tiles confuse quick actions with more information. They should be separated. If I click the tile for charge, I want to enter the detailed options, not change the charging limit. Same with the climate control.

- After setting climate control to a certain time, there were a few counter intuitive popups. I can't remember the details but something like you cannot set climate control for a specific day if it is not recurring weekly (why??)

- Why is the flash light option confused with the location tile?

- Missing features: I can't change the charge voltage limit in the app, I cannot park/unpark the car from the app. I got laughed at by a friend who has a KIA for how simple the app is.

Nothing that upsets too much but I hope they treat this as raw draft and keep improving.

We are on our first longer trip and need to plan the route and feel very frustrated with the Polestar Charge situation. We deliberately made the subscription to save 30% on charging but there seems to be no filter to only get stations that are affected. Furthermore, checking manually for stations that should be included (Aral Pulse) gives us the same price in the app that has the subscription to the one that doesn't. Does that now mean they are not included? They should, no?

I have my own media server at home and run it via Jellyfin. I wanted to access it while charging and already prepared for an odyssey of getting the apps installed (since they are not available in the appstore), circumventing various blockages and doing hacky stuff only to get a less-than optimal experience (if any). But, as it turns out the process has been super easy and works perfectly.

From my phone:

- Downloaded Tailscale .apk from github

- Downloaded Findroid .apk from github

- Connected my phone to the right USB port in the car and could access the file storage. I then could simply install the apps directly from my phone. Small caveat, no files or folders had any names and were blank, so I had to guess work a bit. Not too bad.

Then, everything just worked. I opened tailscale, connected, opened Findroid, inserted my IP and could immediately stream videos.

Amazing. No fiddling with settings to install from devmode, no fiddling with adding missing codecs, nothing. The process took literally 5 minutes and I can enjoy my home videos while charging.

I am visiting some family in Germany around 13-15 August in Krefeld/Düsseldorf area. Level is mid. Anybody up for a squash session?

Hello everyone, I want to access my Jellyfin home server from my car, so I can watch some stuff while charging the car. Normally, I would use tailscale and a jellyfin client. That works perfectly on the phone. But it seems none of the obvious choices are available in the car's play store. Is there any other way? Potentially installing the apps through the .apk directly? Or is the system just so closed that it is pointless to try this?

Getting tired to keep approving simple commands like "grep", "cat", "find" and "ls". Even if you tell it to "always allow these requests" it seems to keep asking even within the same session.

I cannot put a cup or glas and turn on the machine and go do something else, because the vibration slowly pushes the cup off the metal area. Somebody else having this issue? Other than that, great machine!

Hey! I recently got my new P4 but I haven't tried too much the self-driving capabilities. So far, I know that it can follow the road on a high way. But I haven't figured out whether it also can accelerate and decelerate and even take an exit.

How much can the P4 do realistically ?

I am getting spam calls almost daily now. It is a number from various different cantons (lucerne, st.gallen, berne) or sometimes even mobile numbers. Whenever I pick up, the other side immediately closes the phone call. Occasionally, it were also these maggots trying to sell some insurance things.

I don't even accept phone calls most of the time anymore, which actually makes me miss the rare legit calls from some service providers.

My first question is, why would they so persistently call and then immediately stop the call? I understand if they try to sell something, but mostly the call ends immediately. My second question is whether there is something to be done about this?

Hi guys! We will be soon getting our Polestar 4 as a lease and its the first time leasing. I heard it might be a good idea to put a trunk cover in the back, so that loading things will do less damage over time.

After looking a bit for options, I realized that there are two distinct ways to use the trunk. A somewhat lowered state and higher state. The problem is that it would change the dimension of the cover and it seems you need to decide which one to pick.

Does anybody have an insight in which configuration you use the trunk in most of the time?

Game is still going, but horrible to watch. For the first time, I actually feel that Elias is triggered about every single interference and feels totally mistreated and goes into a mental death spiral. It's difficult to judge, I am too unexperienced as a player. But what I know is as a viewer it's just bad.

Hi - I am slightly confused not to find any information about the MY27 despite it being shown on the official website (under preconfigured cars). What exactly is known about the new 2027er version? And is that the facelift that has been teasered or is there a separate model planned and the 2027 just refers to it being delivered at the second half of 26?
