Cat emergency dental

Hi everyone,

I’m asking for help for a stray cat that I rescued from the street.

When I found him he was living a hard life outside, trying to survive on his own. Over time he’s slowly learned to trust people and started to enjoy being safe. Seeing him finally relax and realise he didn’t have to fight for everything anymore has been amazing.

Sadly, he’s now been diagnosed with severe stomatitis. His gums are badly inflamed, ulcerated and bleeding, and the inflammation goes right to the back of his mouth. The vets have said he must be in constant pain, even though he tries so hard not to show it.

The only real chance of giving him a pain free life is a full mouth extraction. It’s a major operation and there are no guarantees, but the vets believe it’s his best chance. If the surgery can’t go ahead, his quality of life will have to be reviewed and euthanasia may become the kindest option. After everything he’s already survived, that’s absolutely heartbreaking.

I’m doing everything I can for him, but I can’t afford the cost of this surgery on my own. That’s why I’m asking for help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards his treatment and recovery.

If you’re not able to donate, please sharing this would mean so much. Every share gives him another chance of reaching someone who can help.

Thank you for taking the time to read his story and for giving this little stray a chance. He deserves the opportunity to live a life without pain.

Cat dental bills.

Hello all,

I have recently rescued and fostering a stray cat who has severe stomatitis, I have been told that he needs his full set of teeth removed, or unfortunately he will have to be euthanised. I have been given two weeks to raise £700 and I would really love to give him another chance, at an estimated 3 years of age he has so much life and love left to give.

He has a wonderful temperament and been through so much. If you’re in a position to help, I would appreciate it more than anything.

Diagnostic Radiography

I am 27F looking for a career change after spending the last 9 years studying and working in Film & TV, and in hospitality. I worked as an assistant director and as a deputy manager of multiple restaurants but I am wanting a stable, salaried job within healthcare, and I have seen courses for Diagnostic Radiography.

I have no experience within healthcare, and I also haven’t got any science A-Levels or equivalent qualifications. The closest I have are my core and additional sciences GCSEs from over 10 years ago and a level 2 dist* in health and social care. I would however be a mature student and graduated with a first from my creative degree.

I’d like to apply for September 2026 intake to study diagnostic radiography, but I am concerned that I will be a non starter for these reasons, and I’m wondering if anybody could advise what move would be best next to ensure I will get in for this course.

Thank you in advance! 🩷

Gastroenteritis

Hey guys, been on a journey to sobriety for a year and keep letting myself down.

Recently I have relapsed and not sure it I have food poisoning or bad withdrawals but i have been passing bile both ends for 2 weeks. Hoping somebody has some advice as I’m terrified that its the beginning signs of liver failure.
