Train parking

Travelling to Dublin, was thinking to park in maynooth and train in.

Can anyone advise on parking in maynooth on Saturday morning, availability etc or is this just bad idea?

Zwo asiair worth it?

Have a meade lx10 8n inch, and zwo 120 colour, im in Ireland so good night's are hard to get.

Using the cam and the USB to pc is very fiddly, I have a tablet with stylus.

Is the air worth it? My understanding is it just omits the need for a pc hooked to the camera?

Hi,

So ya im well kitted out. Ideally would like a smart casual top that works in office or maybe even date night.

Otherwise enjoy climbing, ya inspired me :)

Finger injury

Not climbing super hard or anything just trying to be consistent. Anyways woke up yesterday and my middle finger feels off. I have full range of motion etc but for want of a better word feels stiff when I go to flatten fingers or straighten. Feels tender around the knuckles in the morning. As the day goes on feels much better.

I know it's nothing serious, any advice? I can grip and hold, when is good to start climbing again? Any rehabilitation exercises?

Repair

Hi,

My 4 year old black hole 25L has some minor beginning holes.

It will probably last a little more before its an issue but would like to get ahead of it.

Memory tells me I have a life warranty/ repair? If so what's the cost / process ?

I'm in Ireland, and have access to my patagonia branded store.

Preferred charging times

Okay im a little confused. My lowest electric price is 2am till 4am.

I put this in as preferred and the car ONLY charged for those two hours....I just assumed it would do its best to use those plus whatever was needed.

My rates are, 8am till 11pm expensive, 11pm -2am cheaper and 2-4am the cheapest.

What should I do to ensure I get value and get to 80% by the start of the next day.

Home networking upgrade

My current set up is:

Isp router that handles landline phone and TV -> Asus router that handles around 17 clients in the house. I also have a unvr instant with 3 cams behind the Asus.

I can't drop the isp router since they encrypt (?) the land line service for i need to use theirs.

The Asus router works OK, but i don't get great speed upstairs and honestly im impressed with the ubiquiti quality after my unvr.

If I wanted to replace the Asus, what do I look for?

G5 turret and unvr

Hi,

Got my unvr instant kit, just laying cat6 cable and hooked up my first of the g5 turret ultra. It was adopted and did some updates.

I was viewing the feed in the protect app, honestly was a little disappointed in the lag - it did seem to get better but maybe my mind playing tricks. Getting very worried about the next cams slowing it all down. The app said connection was 'excellent '

Also is there a nice UI for my elderly parents to simply view the cams? Ie zero buttons or tapping or swiping?

Baby dewalt up to job?

I need to drill a 40cm hole through hard concrete for an ethernet cable. I only have a baby Dewalt DCH033N, will that work? Any tips to avoid blow out on the other side?

First MIP gbx100

Was sick of my 7900 having solar issues and it's band was cracking. Figured id try battery on this. The display is amazing! Not a fan of navigating the menus , zero use for phone notifications. Wish date was dd/mm.

Unvr and poe switch

Just mentally going over a set up before buying a unvr instant kit.

I would have two cams leading back to a poe switch, then this switch back to the unvr. Would that be OK? Or does each cam need its own ethernet cable back to the unvr?

Solar and rates?

Thinking ahead to winter rates with my solar and battery setup! My current tariff is higher during the day and lower at night, which is perfect for summer. But with less solar in December, I'm wondering if Electric Ireland offers winter-specific rates. 🤔

Booked a Go Etna tour, which has trek to the summit, plus 4x4 jeep.

Im travelling light, will my eco light slip ons with elastic laces cut it? There was no option to rent shoes.
