Dumped from the Villa/Island

Is there a difference between being dumped from the villa and being dumped from the island? Idk I feel like Sean's story isn't over yet. Let me know your thoughts!

Jal and Maxxie were in the wrong, not Michelle

It BOGGLES my mind how people look at a situation where a girl is cheated on and humiliated multiple times by her psychotic and egotistical boyfriend, and not only that, but her friend(s?) knew and didn't tell her, and he cheated on her with one of THEIR FRIENDS while she was in the room, but somehow, she's wrong for lashing out at Jal for knowing for so long and not telling her and for not wanting to talk to Maxxie after he let her bf give him head.

While Jal shouldn't have been the one to tell Michelle, and it should've been Tony because he's the boyfriend, Jal still made it worse by at least not confronting Tony and saying, "If you don't tell her, I will." The same goes with Maxxie.

Michelle being villainized breaks my heart, and she deserved so much better. And I will die on that hill.

In Defense of Bea

I always try to see both sides, and I do, but also the whole Mel vs Bea thing boils down to Melanie being unable to handle criticism. All the girls were thinking and saying the same thing, but Bea was the only one to actually articulate and not just that, but say it without any cursing or name-calling.

This crash-out was definitely good TV, but I do not see a person who is as sensitive to confrontation as Melanie lasting too long in the villa.

EDIT: I'm seeing a lot of people argue that Bea should've talked to Melanie about it in private but regardless of if it was in front of the girls or one-on-one, Mel still would've had the same reaction. Plus, it's not like when Amaya argued with Chelley in front of everyone about Ace where no one else knew what was going on/ Amaya kept interrupting and talking over Chelley. The girls all collectively agreed BEFORE Bea spoke up.

Kayda and Aniya appreciation!

My two fave girls so far! Stunning, and super chill. I feel like their intentions are pure while also not taking everything too seriously.

EDIT: TRINITY TOO!!

Cassie is not a victim, and Sid is not a horrible guy

I am a diehard Sid defender and always have been, and I really don't understand why everyone piles on him and acts like Cassie is this victim who can do no wrong.

Cassie liked Sid first, and Sid didn't reciprocate. Ok. It happens.

Then, when Cassie is hospitalized, Jal blames Sid. Yes, he should've explained himself but Cassie trying to off herself was not his fault at all and anyone who blames him for that is sick.

She then got mad at him for dipping to go help Tony which- is also not Sid's fault?

Not to mention the way she makes everything everyone else's problem like, "I've had my pain, Jal. Yours is in the post." like WTF?!

Bottom line, they're both mentally ill teenagers who shouldn't have been together like most of the kids on that show.

"It's too early to be crying"

While I agree, I don't think attacking Kenzie for crying on the second night and Melanie for crying on day three is right. Reminder: Leah cried on day two. Huda cried EVERY DAY. Kaylor cried EVERY day. Also, with no phones or sense of time and everyone being together 24/7, three days feels like two weeks!!

The New Bombshell!

I really hope the new bombshell is Trinity's type! She's the only girl who I feel like doesn't have someone she's connected with yet, and she and Bryce feel so forced, so, hoping for good vibes tomorrow!

How did the Fitches get their house back?

As we know, Katie and Emily's dad is bankrupt and their house was repossessed. However, it seems they quickly got the house back only a few days the family was forced to stay at Naomi's.

Maybe it's just sloppy writing, but does anyone with a financial background on here know how that works? Lol it's always tickled my brain.

"You know I love you, Nips"

The scene that made me saddest for Michelle, other than the countless amounts of times she found out about the girls Tony was shagging behind her back, was in s1 ep 7 "Michelle."

She looks at Tony and asks him to do one simple thing: "Tell me you love me." And then when he responds the way he does, she tells him again. But this time "Like you'd die for me" and "Like your world stops turning because of me."

And even then, he can't say it. It breaks my heart because we've all been there. Begging for the bare minimum from someone we love, and even though we know deep down that a person who loves us wouldn't even have to be asked, we still seek that validation.

Warning: Hot take

Call me crazy, but I'm really excited for season 3. I love the ASOIAF world, and GOT/HOTD/AKOTSK are my comfort shows, but god, everyone has to have an opinion on everything nowadays. And god forbid you say Daenerys isn't your favorite Targaryen!

Most of these characters are immoral and do horrible things, but they're fictitious, and their stories are fascinating, and that's what I love about GRRM and how he creates characters and stories.

Justin looks fine- you guys are just rude

The way you guys talk about the way he looks now makes it seem like he came back from the dead/really let himself go. He looks perfectly fine to me- god forbid a person doesn't look exactly how they did in high school.

Naomi's reason for cheating was stupid and Emily Deserved Better

I'm sure a lot of people are gonna disagree with me on this one, but Naomi saying that her reason for cheating was to spite Emily is so stupid. She's basically saying, "I hate how much you loved me and your control over me so I had to go cheat on you." BASICALLY BLAMING EMILY.

Time and time again throughout the series she was just horrible to Emily, from right before Naomi came out ("Maybe I only like boys apart from you", not Naomi's actual fear of coming out of the closet), the cheating, and literally not telling Emily she had cancer.

I really feel for Emily and she deserved a happier ending than what she got.

"Do you think we're wealthy?" A deeper look at Season 1 finale

I remember laughing so hard I was crying when I heard Lois say for the first time "Do you think we're wealthy" and "Are you aborigines?" as a kid. It's still funny as an adult, but rewatching I completely understand her crash out and frustration. Imagine you're overworked and underpaid, you want just one vacation with your husband, and then you have two kids who won't stop fighting and wreaking havoc.

It also touches a lot on the main theme of MITM which is the effects everyday life has on lower income families. How you are naturally more appreciative of breaks and vacations as its not as easy to just pick up and go again from a bad vacation .

Does anyone on here actually like Craig?

Craig is insanely hard to watch, imo, and I know a lot of people think he's funny, but I just don't see it at all. Am I missing something?!

EDIT: YES I KNOW THIS SITCOM IS TWENTY YEARS OLD IM JUST ASKING A QUESTION CHILL

I watched this season all the way up until the red wedding dumping where a lot of people left/volunteered to leave. I feel like this season was what everyone made s7 to be with the mean girls at least. Anna sucked and I was glad she volunteered to leave. I liked Hannah and KayKay a lot (despite her disappointing me a few times). I really feel like Kassy was ganged up on with the whole Anna/Kassy/Leo situation because why did everyone take Anna's side?! You lose em how you get em!

Carmen was eh to me, and I wasn't too keen on Destiny either tbh she kinda annoyed me (I know a lot of people on this sub like her so I'm gonna keep it at that).

Also, the men, except for Bergie, were awful. It's impressive how long Bergie stayed on that show, but I'm glad he found his person.

Leo and Keenan are probably my least favorite men in LI history, mostly for how they acted in Casa. Every time Keenan opened his mouth I genuinely wanted to punch him like he avoids accountability like it's the plague.

Also, I know Leo and Kassy eventually made up and were the runners-up. I'd be curious to see how he got her back, considering the whole thing with Johnnie would've been such a dealbreaker for me, but idk.

(Also wth was up with Mike speaking to Sarah like that? She didn't do anything wrong and I also really liked her as the host even though I obviously prefer Ariana).

What are your thoughts?

  1. Bonnie Anne: OG Companion one of the most powerful imo

  2. Sarah Steele: It's annoying because her life drains so quickly but she makes up for it with riposte and powerful sneak attack

  3. Old Scratch- also kind of a gamble because he fizzles so much, but he's really powerful too

HM: Kobe Yojimbo, Dead Mike, Peter Quint

  1. No influencers

  2. Cast people who don't know each other already

  3. have public votes by couples, not by individuals

  4. Normal Casa/Casa recoupling

  5. BRING BACK MOVIE NIGHT

  6. Boys vs girls HRC instead of couples

  7. The SOB challenge can stay but I WANT MOVIE NIGHT BACKKK

  8. and lastly... background check the cast properly lol
