Looking for DJ, southeastern MA

Looking for firsthand recommendations on a DJ!

Really just looking for someone who’s good at reading energy, keeping people on the dance floor, is good at transitioning from one song to the next, and can follow directions (nothing crazy, just do-not-plays and must-plays).

Really do not want a “hype man” style DJ, ie someone who yells over the music to try to stir the crowd.

[TOMT] Card game where red kings equal zero

It’s not Cabo or Golf

I cannot find the name of this specific game anywhere.

Basically each player starts with 4 cards face down and your cards stay face down the entire game. You then take turns drawing cards and several have special abilities:
-7s allow you to switch cards between players
-8s allow you to look at one of your cards
-9s allow you to look at someone else’s card
-10s allow you to give one of your cards to others
-red Kings are worth zero points

Each card you have is worth the face value, Aces worth 1 and all face cards worth 10.

The idea is to get to a point where you think the total point value of the cards you have is as low as possible, lower than anyone else’s, and then you call your shot. The other players get one more turn each and then you show your cards, and there are bonuses for calling your shots correctly and penalties for incorrect calls if someone else has a lower score.

You play to a predetermined number ie 200, first to 200 loses.

Recs on venues (MA east of Worcester or southern NH) with admin fees <15% ?

Fiancée and I are venue shopping and having a difficult time reconciling blowing such a large chunk of our venue budget on ~49% tax/gratuity/admin

Any recommendations welcome!

For context, venue/food&bev budget is max $35k

Kintaro the long way?

I’m thinking about getting Kintaro wrestling the carp, but in a spot that requires horizontal orientation opposed to vertical. I cannot find a horizontal reference anywhere, but sketched this myself.

Anyone have any references they could share, or just thoughts on this in general?

My hot round of the year, calling it early

This is about as good as it gets by my standards. Course PB by 2 or 3 strokes and my highest rated ever on UDisc. Muldoon Park in Pelham NH!
