What is the right amount of moon for Halloween?
I'd like it spooky, but not, ya know, terrifying, because that could upset the kids.

I'm thinking like, "Tell me about your childhood," and the silly fish has nothing to say.
And where do all the old moons go? Is there a retirement home for moons?
I just copied from a list made by "spooky astronauts" on youtube:

This movie was mentioned in The Eugenics Crusade documentary that was posted about the other day.
It is something else. Strange and sort of bewildering. Not long, thankfully. Under an hour.
I'll just copy the imdb summary:
A young woman wishes to marry her boyfriend and raise a family, but because her own family has been deemed "defective" by the state health authorities--her parents are lazy alcoholics who continue to have children, and her brothers are crippled, have mental problems or are jailed--she is ordered by a court to undergo sterilization so that her family's "defective genes" won't be passed on to any more children. Her boyfriend and a kind priest desperately search for a way to stop the forced sterilization before it's too late.
Overestimating how much others are paying attention to us, is the spotlight effect. It's a troublesome thing, feeling self-conscious, thinking you are being judged (negatively).
I experience this in my home too. I think family judges me. I hear the way they talk about other people. I know they are judgmental.
I feel it at the self-checkout in the store. So self-conscious. Surely the worker there is evaluating me, and the customers waiting their turn are wishing I'd hurry up, but I can't because being anxious slows me down. I'll just make more mistakes if I try doing things faster.
Crossing the road, I bet that driver is judging me. And that stranger approaching down the sidewalk that'll reach me in a minute. I might cross the road first. Plus he's got a dog and they are weird.

A wholesome looking movie and an unusual Hammer Film from the UK. I guess this may have been the early days of "Stranger Danger" that still permeates our western cultures, or has even made a comeback stronger than before, with parents wary of the safety of their kids.
An old man in this movie, I don't think he even says a single word, is presented as the boogeyman. He is a rich man, and he lives on the edge of town - I believe that's the way it was shown - so that he is isolated.
A young girl around age 9 comes home to tell her parents some shocking things that happened involving this old man luring her to his house with free candy. The contrast between the Father Knows Best wholesomeness of the film's appearance, and the things the girl says, is striking.
Without ever showing anything awful the movie creates a sense of dread.

A man loses his wife in an accident. When he meets a dominatrix it helps him deal with his grief.
This film is more about the grief of a profound loss than it is about role play or BDSM.
I'd say more but I don't remember it that well, been a few years, but I thought it was really good.
Is it to get away with crimes or something?
