One of the most insane dealer markups I’ve ever seen on a Tundra.

“Breakfast and lunch while you service” is INSANE.

Was just told by the tire shop that I need new tires and have less than 15% life on these OEM michelins. These have 14k miles on them…..realistically should I replace?

Need help, guys. Can’t make a decision as to which grill to have for camping

I currently have a Weber Q1000 that I use for camping. While I like it alot, it is heavy and a bit bulky. I am thinking of getting a Weber Go Anywhere Gad grill for camping. I like how illts a boxier design, looks lighter and the legs fold up.

Has anyone ever used both? Should I keep the Q1000 or sell it for the Go Anywhere?

US jobless aid filings fall to 215k last week as layoffs remain low despite economic headwind. Unsure what to make of this……

Has anyone else noticed a negative/toxic shift in the corporate culture?

I’ve been working in corporate since 2007. Survived through the 2008 recession after a layoff then but there seems to have been shift post Covid, right after the 2022 hiring bonanza. It’s now so toxic….it’s almost unbearable. I’ve never seen the culture, or lack there of any culture for that matter, as bad as it is now.

What happened?

My first Weber grill. Facebook Marketplace find for free.

Found this on Facebook Marketplace for free. Like new. Flavorizers are still good. Cleaned it up, tested it out and works amazing. This is my first Weber grill and the quality compared to the crappy Dyna-Glo I have is insane. So happy with what I think is a rare find for free.

I can’t take this role anymore

I’m at at my breaking point with this role. I’m trying to take control of what I can do but it seems to never be enough.

The intrusive thoughts are VERY heavy today and lately. It seems like it’s crazy everywhere.

Sorry, just needed to vent as the anxiety is through the roof.

Fuck the corporate culture/work

Beyond sick and fucking tired of it. The fakeness, the constant shifting priorities, the never ending bullshit meetings, unrealistic expectations, the inept leadership. Fuck it all.

Sorry, just needed to rant

Why is it seem that burnout is more rampant now then in recent years? What is happening?

It seems that burnout is more rampant with these corporate jobs more than ever before. I feel it too. Been in it almost 20 years now but I honestly have never seen it so widespread.

What is happening?
