Any guesses or prayers for when/where their next tour will be?

I'm practically on the edge of my seat waiting for when they release their next tour dates and locations. I'm heartbroken because when they last came to London in 2025 I had a holiday abroad right in the middle of it. I was so tempted to abandon my family holiday and go see them 😭 (obviously I did not).

I went to go see the weekend concert at wembley last night and it made me realise how desperate I am to see mother mother, Im praying they come back to the O2 arena again because it's SOOOO close to my home, it would be amazing! Especially if they opened with their new album I WOULD JUST DIE ON THE SPIT UGAHAHAHSHDHS guys pls come back 😭😭😭

It is common practice to iron every item of clothing you have?

I grew up with the assumption that you only iron super wrinkly clothes (like ones with the wrinkly prone material) or important clothes like a suit or a dress for a wedding or funeral or whatever.

I'm 21f now and when I started university (living at home), I was talking to my uni friends about this and I told them that I don't really iron my clothes and they all seemed absolutely gobsmacked. I was never taught how to use and iron, my mum let me try once when I was like 12 and I burned through one of my school shirts (she would always iron my school shirts). Again, another reason why I've always assumed ironing is for when you want to look smart and formal, school being one example I was shown.

I don't iron my everyday clothes. I don't iron my work clothes or my uni clothes. My clothes never really get wrinkly, I either hang them to dry and they dry straight and wrinkle free or I chuck them in the dryer and the dryer takes away most of the wrinkles caused by the washing machine.

Red inflamed (blister?) hard ball thing on thumb, very painful

When I stretch my thumb out you can see the size as it goes white against the rest of my skin. I’ll be honest, it really is quite painful and I have no idea what the hell it is, it hurts to move my thumb in any direction, even typing this hurts quite a bit. Can’t find any advice on Google at all.

How do you feel about feminine terms being altered to fit a broader spectrum of people, rather than just women?

Terms such as 'chest feeding' // 'birth giver' // 'pregnant person' // 'uterus haver' // 'vagina owner'

I want to know how you feel about this?

Migraine or headache? How do I make it STOP? I can't take this

I started work feeling fine, then as the day progressed I felt this kind of weird strained feeling in my head and eyes. We were super busy so I didn't really have the chance to acknowledge how I was feeling, I just had to push through my shift. When it got quieter, I started noticing my head was throbbing in pain when I moved too fast, or bent down to pick something up.

It got to the point where anything I did, caused it to throb in pain, and it kept a continuous mild pain even while I was still. How it's 1am, I should be sleeping for work in the morning but the pain has gotten so intense, I can't even lay down without it hurting. The only position that feels bearable is sitting upright, not leaning my head on anything.

I feel it in my eyes, they are super strained as if I've been starting at a screen for 48hrs straight. If I look far to the left or right I get this blurry black hole looking thing in my vision, but it goes away the second I look straight again. I also sort of feel it in my nose, like right on the bridge, I feel some pressure here. I feel so tired like I've not slept for days (which is not the case). I can't think of any reason I'm experiencing all of this, I've just been doing normal things I do every day.

I've taken some ibuprofen because I've heard it's the best to take for inflammation which I guess is what a headache or migraine is. It's helped a little bit I still can't get past the pain and sleep. It's irritating me now, I can't focus, even writing this is difficult. I just want to sleep.

What is an immediate solution to relieve some pain tonight? And what can I do for tomorrow if this headache/migraine still persists?

Edit: forgot to mention that I actually do remember having neck pain before this. It felt like I might have slept funny or something but it was sudden and didn't hurt in the morning when I woke up, just started hurting randomly and then after that is when i started getting the symptoms I described here.

I've stopped rubbing the bean for my own sake and I don't know how much longer I can sustain

I can already smell the weird DMS I'm going to get from this, I won't be accepting a single one, keep that in mind.

I have had issues with boyfriends in the past where I just can't orgasm, at all. I can pleasure myself perfectly fine, mind you my record time is probably some 45 seconds. But with a guy, never. I've had two sexual partners, and neither of them could do it. We tried so many things, my gosh did we try near everything but nothing worked.

I knew it was a problem when after sex all I wanted to do was get my vibrator out and do the job myself (I didn't do this, I waited for him to go home first, both their egos were too fragile). I had a feeling that because I had been exploring the forest since quite young, I'd become too accustomed to myself. I've been single for two years and I'm getting to an age where I can see myself settling down one day and I don't want to have the same issues in the bedroom so I've decided to stop flicking my bean. I even threw away my vibrator.

I've stopped watching porn too, that shit should genuinely be outlawed. For years and years and years I've watched porn and again I think this also contributed to my issues in the bedroom. Unrealistic expectations, low confidence, a craving for porn instead of the real deal, it's awful, never again for that one.

Now I tell you it's been fucking difficult to say the least, midnight and I see something on my feed that is maybe 1% sexual and my nervous system starts going nuts. It's been a few weeks now. Maybe I'm going crazy. But I know this will be so good for me in the future, because after however long it will be from not touching the bean, I'm hoping that one day the love of my life can have the privilege of giving me the biggest, fattest O ever.

Tonight I'm struggling so I thought instead of possibly caving in, I'd get this off my chest and feel better.

I'm sick of instantly needing to take a shit after a coffee

I know that's how caffeine works, but it's so annoying. All I want to do is have a coffee at work to keep me going for the day, but in addition to that, 20 minutes later my stomach is turning and doing backflips to warn me that I'm about to shit myself if I don't go to the nearest toilet. I'm lactose intolerant so I have oat milk in my latte, there's no milk, NO MILK, so why is my body reacting like I've just drank a whole carton of milk. I love caffeine but I really really hate it too.

How do I remove a year old self-tan stain and make-up from my carpet?

A year ago when we moved into our new apartment, I allowed my mum and sister to use my room because I was the only person who had tall mirrors on my wardrobe that they could use to get ready.

They disrespected my space and left make-up stains and self-tan stains over my carpet in front of my wardrobe mirrors. I tried a few things to lift the stains and it only made a mild difference, the stains are still dark, orange and whatever other colours they used.

I scrubbed, I let it soak in a few different solutions, nothing really worked so I gave up and left it. I'm now wondering if there's anything I could do to remove it, a year later.

Pet cockatiel accidentally escaped for 2 days, reunited home and is now being aggressive

He flew out of the window and was missing for 2 whole days. During those two days we had a major storm filled with thunder, lightning and rain, and on the second day we had a tremendous heatwave that left even me who had an AC, absolutely dying in this heat.

He was outside all alone for those two days. He’s a baby, he cannot navigate his flight very well just yet and before he went missing, we were regularly feeling him baby bird formula. We were convinced that he would dye from lack of food and water, and even more so from the harsh weather conditions we have been having.

Funny thing is, we actually DID find him on the first day, clinging up high on a building but he refused to fly down. After 20 minutes he tried to fly down about flew far out of our sight. We spent two days putting up posters, calling him, whistling, talking g to people in the street, putting up online posters to local groups.

Finally a very kind lady found him yesterday and we were able to be reunited. He’s home, he’s safe, not injured as far as we can see. He’s truly a miracle. The issue now is that he has become extremely aggressive with everyone. Before he went missing we could hold our hand out and he’d fly to us, land on our head, he was so vocal and constantly whistling but now he’s silent, will attack your hand if you go near him and doesn’t want to fly toward people anyone but would rather fly to the highest place in the room, away from everyone. I think during those two days he was missing, he faced some horrible conditions and it has really affected him.

I have tried my absolute best to try regain his trust again, giving treats, petting him, whistling to him, talking to him, letting him fly around. Nothing seems to work so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get things removed from your medical records, and who can access therapy notes?

[I am NOT asking for medical advice, just paperwork and informational]

Now this really does feel like a stupid question but I’m just wondering what would it take for you to be able to remove information or notes or whatever from your medical records if that’s even possible?

And who is authorised to access any notes that were taken during therapy sessions? I know it’s supposed to be confidential but let’s say years down the line, would there be any exceptions as to who could access that information?

Is army reserves worth it for someone like me? Be honest

Ive just finished my second year of uni, about to start my third year in September. Summer had just started so I’m working alot at my part time job. I feel really drawn to be a part of something important like this, build up my skills, become a better disciplined person.

I have some things holding me back.
Im 21F, I’m fat, extremely unfit and I barely exercise. I want to change this in general anyway but if I wanted to join reserves in a year’s time, would I be able to change myself in time? I know that sounds stupid because it depends on how well I manage it myself but I’m just trying to think realistically here.
I have self harm scars from when I was a young and dumb but I’ve heard this is probable cause for rejection in the military/Army for safety concerns, I was on anti depressants a few times from 16-19 due to alot of family issues but I’m fine now and want to move past it all. I’m undiagnosed dyslexic, I can’t spell for shit, my hand writing looks like a toddlers because I hold my pen like a child.
Once I get my degree, I have no idea what I want to do in life, and I know the army has so much to offer, it’s a whole other world full of career opportunities, and I know I’d be supported along the way.

I just want to know what exactly who’ll cause setbacks for me, and if it’s worth doing some hardcore life changes this year to see if I’d be accepted and can pursue a non civilian life.

THE HOUSE GARETH TAKES BECCA INTO IS LAWRENCES OLD HOUSE?!?! I FEEL SICKKKK 😭

As soon as I noticed this, the GASP that flew out of my mouth was INSANE! When I saw him carry becca up the stairs I had instant flashbacks of Lawrence and his mentally unstable wife. EVEN THE BEDROOM LOOKS THE SAME AHHHHH

THE LOCK ON THE DOOR

I just absolutely love how they managed to do that, and compare Gareth and beccas ‘relationship’ to Lawrence and his wife’s (I forgot her name). Gosh this has actually WINDED ME 😭😭😭

Painting window with glue to make it burry/frosted

I’m having a bit of trouble doing this, so I saw this idea online and thought it was the best thing I’ve ever seen. You get some sort of pva glue, and a paint roller and just go to town. When it dries it’s supposed to look frosted so no one can see through the window. It’s renter friendly because it can just peel or wash off.

So I bought some pva glue and a paint roller and gave it a go, I did two layers to make sure it was good and thick. When it dried, IT DRIED SEE-THROUGH 😭 it’s somewhat blurry but no where near what I saw online.

I have no idea why but it didn’t dry with a white tint which is what I expected from a WHITE pva glue. However, the people online who I saw do this used Elmer’s glue as they were American so I’m now wondering is there a difference between uk pva glue and American pva glue.

Anyways, does anyone have any recommendations in case I can’t get hold of Elmer’s glue, I don’t want my neighbours watching me anymore…

▲ 7 r/PCOS

So I do try my best to track my flows even though it seems pointless because it’s always random. But I noticed that this year I hadn’t had a period yet (I just came on today) and in fact my last period was just before Christmas. That’s quite a few months and I think it’s actually the longest I’ve done without a period ever, over 5 months.

I have been to my doctors for PCOS multiple times and still have never been given a solid diagnosis. I’m not trying to self diagnose but I know I have PCOS I have every single symptom, including blood works and scans that back it up (but weren’t able to conclusively prove). I don’t know why they never diagnosed me they said to just come back if I ever had bad pains because it could be a cyst and that’s when they’ll know if I 100% have PCOS. Seems really stupid imo.

But I do get concern that constantly missing months worth of periods isn’t healthy. I know it’s not normal but PCOS does a lot of things to us that aren’t normal. I just want to know if it’s dangerous and I should be concerned by missing a period for over 5 months.

I will not be sugar coating anything here, this is a subreddit for controversial opinions so if you do not like it, then I have achieved the subreddits name. I have the right to free speech. But I will warn that I’m talking about some version sensitive topics here.

I find that I see and hear of this a lot more in transgender people but still a decent amount in gay people. A lot of them have had some sort of trauma happen in their life which could range from an abusive father, to sexual abuse as a child.

People who have experienced something so disgusting such as sexual abuse as a child (as I myself also have experienced) often times feel like they can not identify with their own gender or find themselves disgusted by the gender which abused them. For an example a young girl, she now views men as predators, as danger, and is put off my the thought of ever being with a man, so then she presents herself a lesbian. Or even has a fear of being a woman, due to the abuse she faced she feels vulnerable being a woman so she becomes transgender.

People’s argument to this is often ‘but most transgender and gay people show signs as early as 6 years old’

Yes and most children who have been sexually abused, experienced that before they were 6 years old and beyond. I was abused from the age of 2 by my mother’s boyfriend at the time. She was young and naive and was also being abused. She did not know until it was too late, the damage had been done.

I was too young to understand what happened to me between the ages of 2-5 but my brain reacted in a way that rejected my femininity. I hated being a girl, I hated presenting myself as a girl. I never acted like a girl. In my teenage years when I started remembering things and had a conversation with my mother about what happened to me, I then fully understood. Then started seeing men as dangerous. I would feel uncomfortable if a male family member was playing with my younger sister, I would constantly believe someone would abuse her. I started feeling so disgusted by men I convinced myself that I was gay.

You see how I went through both stages here? I rejected my own gender and rejected my natural sexuality. It wasn’t until I got therapy at 18 years old for the abuse, and worked through my problems that I realised it wasn’t my fault, not all men are like this, and the feelings I had were valid. I then knew I know being a woman, and I loved being attracted to men because they are not all dangerous predators.

I know what you’re going to say, ‘your experience doesn’t speak for all trans and gay people’
You’re right, it doesn’t.
But it doesn’t make my point any less valid.
Every single gay and yea gender person I have had in my life has had some sort of trauma happen to them, I have been friends with many, still am friends with many, I have grown up around LGBTQ people my whole life and the pattern has always been the same. This is why I say ‘most’ and not all because I know this is not the case for every single person out there.

I genuinely believe that transgender people and a lot of gay people have been through trauma similar to this which makes them reject their gender and/or sexuality. It is a symptom of a mental health crisis. I think instead of allowing an 8 year old to change their gender or claim to be gay, we need to support these people in their mental health and get the to root cause of these thoughts and feelings.

I’m prepared for the outpour of comments disagreeing with me, it’s okay, this is a very controversial opinion after all. But I stand by this opinion after years of experience and I know a lot of people do agree with me but in today’s world you can’t say anything like this without getting cancelled or doxxed. Welcome to the world of censorship.

EDIT: For some reason there’s quite a few comments that I can only see in my notifications and not on the post it’s self, which is annoying because I’d love to hear from everyone. If anyone has a suggestion on how to fix that, would be much appreciated.

I’m lactose intolerant so trust me when I say I have had my fair share of bathroom nightmares, but THIS is different…

For 6 days now I have had what I would describe as a stomach bug but it’s lasted for 6 days so far with absolutely no sign of improvement. On top of this I also have a cold or the flu, I’m extremely run down and poorly right now. I can get over the flu that’s fine, but I can bare not keeping food down any longer.

Every time I eat, within 5 minutes I’m tanning to the bathroom to have watery poops. I’ve tried eating recommended foods like white bread, rice, bananas, apple sauce (all things recommended to help regulate stools after water poops) and nothing is helping. I’ve tried eating small amounts every few hours, I’ve tried not eating all day and then having a small meal, I’ve tried just eating regular food. Nothing helps.

It’s getting to the point now that no matter how much water I drink, it’s coming back out straight away too and for 6 days I have felt extremely dehydrated. I’ve tried drinking electrolytes to get my brain working again because I feel like a zombie. I just don’t know if I’m over reacting and being paranoid or if this is actually something I should be concerned about considering it’s been 6 days and there has been 0% improvement?

Only good thing coming from all of this is I’m pooping so much and so fast that I can feel the weight dropping off which imo is lovely lmao but also probably concerning too right? 😭

It’s Wednesday morning and on Saturday I started having watery poops. Since then it’s been non stop, everything I eat is turned to water, stomach cramps, not to mention I also developed the flu 2 days ago so that’s a lovely combo.

I’ve tried eating things recommended by Google like bread, rice, bananas, but nothing sticks. I’m getting really sick of being woken up by the urge to go poop orange liquid. I was supposed to take my next injection on Sunday but I’ve opted out till I started feeling better. Any have any advice?

I’ve been on antidepressants before and I did experience brain zaps, however ever since I was a kid, when I had a cold or flu I would be tormented with brain zaps.

My eyes are the trigger, whenever I look to the left or right I get the brain zaps and I feel it in my upper body like I’m jolting but on the inside.

I’ve always wondered what is the connection between people who get this while they are sick and people who get this from medication withdrawal, I don’t understand.

I know I must be something to do with neuroreceptors in the brain and serotonin levels, but why when you’re sick?
