I get a “technical difficulties” message when trying to view my purchase power in the app. Anyone else notice this or did I anger the Klarna gods? 🤣
Hired a recommended handyman to build a deck. Is this acceptable for the foundation/structure?
This is a 12x16 with about 16’ of stairs. And it is supposed to have a roof over it matched up to the house gable (not attached but matching it).
$4900 project.
UPDATE----
I texted him before he got started today (day 2) that we needed to talk about the blocks. he defended the way he did them, "industry standard" and "been doing this for 30 years this way"... said it would cost more to do anything else. I said we had to do something better with the blocks, he offered to put a few posts in the ground 24" but to leave most of the deck resting on the existing blocks. I offered to lift the frame off with my backhoe so he could redo the blocks right, said that would be a lot of extra work and cost. I offered to move it and do the blocks myself and set the deck back in place and he could finish... he was already packing up any board that wasn't nailed in and left. said "you won't be happy with anything I do".
ugh... I guess I get to build a deck this weekend.

Is Fortnite dead on parallels? I had it working but haven’t played in 6-8 months on my M4 MacBook Air, now it gives me an HVCI error and won’t launch.

It has 1000 hours on it. I noticed when the left wheel motor is going forward (slow or fast) it makes a squealing noise. The other motor doesn't make any noise, and this one only makes the squeak/squeal going forward, it is silent in reverse.
Is this a sign of a bad wheel motor? (It has Parker wheel motors)
Any ideas or advice of things to do or check on these?
