How much gameplay do you include in your demo?

What's your philosophy for what a demo should be?

Or what a demo should include? Does it depend on the game?

I've never released a game before so I'm trying to figure out how much is too much for a demo.

My game has three environments so I'm making my demo start in one and the transition to the other environment is where I plan on stopping the demo.

I have a complicated version of that transition and a simple version... do I leave out the more complicated version OR is it maybe the thing that makes the demo great?

I think the environment for the demo has plenty of 'mini games' included so I think making the transition simpler isn't as big of a deal since people should enjoy that level gameplay itself.

Are you using one LLM or an army of agents?

*** Disclaimer: I'm not connected to any of these companies and this isn't an ad. ***

I'm a small business owner and I just started playing around with Taskade and the idea of having multiple AI agents working on different things.

It got me wondering: are most small business owners still just using one LLM like ChatGPT or Claude, or are people actually building out teams of agents?

If you've tried the multi-agent approach, what are you actually using the agents for? I'm trying to figure out whether there's a real advantage to having a bunch of specialized agents or if I'm just making things more complicated than they need to be.

How does the rest of the world teach calculus?

In the states, it's usually a foundation of algebra and trig before you start calc.

But then do other countries have a similar break between calc 1, 2 and 3?

It's been a while but i think calc 1 was derivatives, 2 was solids of rotations, vectors and 3 was difeq? I know that was an oversimplification but it seems like it's one of the only subjects that has a clear path?

I'm leaving out stats/ combinatorics etc - that's a different type of math than calculus.

Do we all technically learn it the same way in the same order?

Not a SaaS, not an AI anything - I'm just doing it for the lulz

I'm made something for fun.

Not everything needs to be a billionaire dollar VC funded idea.

The idea is sports related, so making a twitter bot was actually the best idea for marketing.

It costs $.20 per tweet when you use an API and include a link ($.015 with no link).

Factor in another $.02 for the LLM and custom decision tree running.

It posts 10 to 20 times per day.

In total thats maybe $1k for the entire year.

It's completely free to use and anonymous so the only revenue potential I can think of for now is some banner ads. If the twitter posts work well, then it might make me a profit with ad revenue.

I'm not promoting on this post, I'm not sure if reddit is the right place to promote the idea but I'll share the progress!

Anyone else feel like the models have gotten dumber?

Conspiracy theory: they are making the models dumber and slower so we pay more because they vastly underestimated the costs.

Even as an engineer, it's not following basic principles. I feel like before I could just say thing like add a title and subtitle and it would properly place things. I just had to bring out the center in a flex box type of lingo to get it to work right.

Maybe I'm just really high right now, but I feel like they're making it harder to use even though they're still wicked sma'aart.

What type of paint/lipstick should I get to achieve this type of look?

I'm a total newb, but I want to face paint this for something and I have no clue where to start.

I can 'draw' but I'm not going for super detail especially when I'll probably be doing this in mirror.

I was just thinking a good silver, brown and black but if I want to make sure I'm painting over my skin and lips can I use the same paint? Do I need a separate lipstick for the lips?

Also that's not me, but I do have similar facial fur. Will that effect the 'clearness' of the look? Can I still have facial hair if I trim it lower?

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a partner to manage campaigns and content for a growing B2C | I WILL NOT PROMOTE

About the idea:

The current design has users, but the feedback and expectations of users in 2026 made me consider a kinda large pivot.

About me:

Served in the Marines, 2 degrees, full stack developer for over 10+ years, and sold my first company when I was 24.

About you:

You love social media and marketing. You know how to manage content creators. You understand how campaigns work on each platform.

************************************************************************************************

DISCLAIMER: I'm trying to find someone who's in the same financial situation I am in. That means you have the time and money to be a part of a start up at this stage.

************************************************************************************************

About the business plan:

I have $100k for growth. To clarify, I'm not hiring an ad agency who's going to put half in their pocket. Growth means, ad campaigns and content. I'm not paying anyone's salary at this stage.

Should I do a side by side with competitors if I believe my product is superior?

Based on user feedback, I am making a big pivot from a typical app to a custom LLM fusion. I'm a data expert with over 10+ years full stack experience. I am confident what I'm building is better than my competitors.

My competition are all using generic LLM wrappers that yield 'results' that are good enough but not great. And yes, you can ask them all unrelated questions and still get answers.

Is it a good or bad idea to use my competitors in my UGC videos? Essentially repeat the same request in 3 different places and show the results and how easy mine is to use vs the competition?

I'm not really sure if there's any other better way to showcase it. Is this is still considered an effective marketing strategy?

Or should I go the Mac vs. PC approach where I'm not necessarily bashing any competitors but rather making fun of the generic direction of an industry?

Should I get an investor to help build a team, or build a team without an investor?

*** no promotion ***

I have been a full stack engineer for 10+ years. 30 days ago I had an idea, today I'm averaging around 5k users a day and growing without posting any content yet.

I have $100k self funded budget that I could use to either:

a) grow slowly and do everything myself

b) build a team and use the $100k for marketing

c) start meeting investors now and build a team with a larger budget

There's nothing wrong with option a, but I'm already not sleeping much. Even bringing on one other person to help unload the marketing and content work would probably be worth it.

I like option B if I can find the right people. I don't want to waste half my self funded budget to pay salaries, I want the full $100k to go towards marketing campaigns and content. I have the time and money to do this, so the people I'm talking to are in a similar boat.

Option C is interesting, but only if they can help build the team and understand our business.

What kind of content do you think Zuckerberg would have made to promote Facebook?

As an engineer in 2026 promoting a product, I can't help but wonder, what would Zuck have done in today's world.

Would he have 'built in public'?

Would he be making UGC videos?

What kind of questions should I ask a potential marketing partner?

As an engineer, I have to live code in interviews. What is the equivalent experience for a marketer?

For context, I started something (not promoting) that's growing. I definitely know more today about marketing than I did yesterday, but I don't even have social media.

I am running a campaign, tracking utms, etc - but I need someone to take over the responsibilities so I can focus on other things.

Am I even looking for a marketing partner or should I really be using the phrase 'growth hacker' ?

One caveat, this isn't for a 9-5 job. There's no salary I'm offering for this. I have over 10+ years experience as a full stack developer and I have $100k budget for marketing but as a start up, I simply can't pay wages yet. I can provide enough fire power to grow.

I haven't enjoyed my talks with agencies, the $100k budget quickly becomes only a $60k budget after they take their cut.

I think bringing on one person right now to help manage ad campaigns and content would help accelerate the growth I'm seeing.

DISCLAIMER: I know - sweat equity doesn't put food on the table. The people I'm talking to have plenty of savings, so spending 3 months on something to see if it can grow doesn't hurt them financially.

How to prevent google ads from randomly pausing your account?

I've been running ads for the last 3 weeks with no issues. Did all the verifications needed at the start etc but then randomly this morning it paused my account.

I get the link to "complete all required advertiser verification tasks on the Account page."

After filling it out, the screen times out, but in the console I have a check mark for verified AND the warning to verify still.

No official email saying the verification was completed but if I try the link again, it just takes me to the console where I see the check mark and the warning.

For the record, this was all started with a new email account so I'm not totally surprised by this. I'm still in my soft launch window so it's not that huge of a loss for me, it is more about how do I prevent this in the future?

I'm getting ready for a hard launch so any tips or tricks for preventing random account pauses would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm currently doing everything as a sole developer - does it help if you set up an EIN?

Thanks!

Edit: about an hour after I did the verification the account was unpaused.
