First sewing project. Its quite rough but i love it

I gave up trying to make the circular stitches clean, its all wobbly and going over each other. Theres a wire in the brim and no interfacing, just three layers of some kind of calico. Mediums weight is my guess.

I feel a bit insecure about finishing off the stitches. My sewing machine doesnt do backstitch so I tie it up by hand. Not sure how secure thst is but we'll seeeee

Close enough?

Im so happy with the big leafy plants, everything else needs a bit of work. I really wanted to get those tree bits in too

What is this for?

Is this just something artsy or does it serve a purpose? Because inside theres a surpising amount of room and space for a fire? Or a space for a bed?? Its not far from town though.

No hope at Braidliehope, Hawick scotland

A few abandoned structures found on a trip to Hermitage Castle, which is a freaky place in itself but it was unfortunately closed :( luckily we went on further to find this house.

Always my favourite thing to find something so eerie.
