why are nepali men so lonely?

i posted saying i wanted friends as im new in sinamangal & my DMs got FLOODED w guys while i got like ONE girl.

not complaining, i js wanted friends, preferably female friends. i have a boyf & im still allowed to have male friends. not every girl looking for friends is looking for a relationship or a hookup.

I had my F-1 visa interview on July 15 and was given a pink slip. I was asked to submit my financial documents for the past 2 years, an updated I-20 showing my loan, and my social media presence.
My interview was with an Indian consular officer.

I submitted all the requested documents about a week ago, and today (August 7), I noticed that my case was updated. The “Last Updated” date changed to August 7, but the status still says “Refused.” I haven’t received any email or further communication yet.
The description on the CEAC website still says:
“If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete.”
I googled this and found some people saying that if the case is updated after submitting documents, it could mean the case is still open and being processed, and that “refused” doesn’t necessarily mean a final refusal in a 221(g) case.
So I’m confused and honestly pretty anxious 😭

Does this mean my visa has been finally refused, or is my case still under administrative processing?

I interviewed at the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu for an F-1 visa to attend Southern New Hampshire University. Instead of issuing or refusing my visa at the interview, the consular officer gave me a pink 221(g) slip requesting additional financial documents.
The embassy requested:
My sponsor’s last 24 months of bank statements.
Proof of my education loan.
Since then, my university has already issued an updated I-20, and I’ve submitted everything the embassy requested, including:
My father’s last 24 months of bank statements (both his business and personal accounts).
My mother’s personal bank statements for the last 24 months.
Insurance income documents.
Land lease documents.
Proof of an education loan of approximately USD 49,300.

For context:
Estimated Cost of Attendance (COA): approximately USD 37,900.
Available savings: approximately USD 39,900.
My parents combined annual income from their business and house rent is approximately USD 19,900.

They also have an additional combined annual insurance income of approximately USD 14,700.

The Administrative Processing/background check box was not checked on my 221(g) slip, and my passport was returned to me. All requested documents were submitted through NIMB Bank and forwarded to the embassy. what do yall think my chances of approval are?

Does a request like this usually mean the consular officer is primarily verifying financial capacity before making a final decision?

Also, what timeline would you typically expect in a case like mine?

Once I receive the loan sanction letter, I’ll send it to my university and they’ll issue me an updated I-20 reflecting the new funding. After that, I’ll submit the updated I-20 along with all the financial documents requested by the embassy.

Has anyone been through a similar 221(g) situation? Did submitting an updated I-20 with stronger financial documents resolve your case, or were you called for another interview?

Also, how long did it take for you to receive a decision after submitting everything?

Im a 19F dating a 22M. i work 10-5:30, he’s building his app rn so he works day & night. I’ve NEVER asked for his time, i only ask for one thing, ✨updates✨. i understand its high time for his career rn & i support him thru everything. recently, smthn happened in our relationship jasle garda ma ani mero family affect bhayo & rn i need constant attention & reassurance. ali besi anxious chu.

Later he wrote a paragraph saying that w everything thats going on, he’s tired of me. & im too much for him rn when he has to build his career.

We then tried to fix it, we both heard one other & made a list of things which we shouldn’t do in a relationship.

however i still feel very low, he also said, LEAVE if u feel like ur settling w me i’ll be happier for u if u leave & find a better man who has time & money for u to provide

How do i stop all this? We’re both attached & cant leave one other. Im very hurt I want a happy relationship, no fight, none.

Im from Nepal(i hope i dont face racism in comments) i recently went to ranchi (like 2 months ago) for my cousins wedding & there i saw this guy for the very first time. we were staying in the same hotel i forgot the name but its was smthn blooms(yellow interior), i saw him w his friend near reception. i’ve never found a guy attractive but oh my gosh he was exactly my type.

i remember he wore a mustard /sand colored tshirt & prolly was in pants & chappal heading towards mehendi ceremony. i thought that was my first & last time seeing him but no he was invited to my cousins wedding too. Okay i’ll keep this short now.

man when i saw him present at the fuction, i was so happy like i rly rly rly liked him. he too noticed me. i sensed he liked me too. the next mehendi day i could tell that yea maybe he found me attractive asw, bet he did hehe.
