I have a Pia and it's been my main workhorse for more shreddier music but I find the low E is lacking in the tightness I need and it sounds more muted than the other strings. I find I'm fighting it more.

When compared to longer scale length guitars I have, like my Kiesel Vader and Strandbergs, I find those (obviously) holds tension better on the lower strings and they ring out better without buzz.

My current setup is:

• a 9-42 NYXL set with action set at 1.2 - 1mm from low E to high e.
• Neck relief is at around 0.4mil.
• There is an ever so slight buzz from frets 1-4, but there's enough neck relief for the higher frets.

Should I try reducing the bridge height on the low end and straighten out the neck more?

Would a higher gauge string tighten up.

The frets are pretty well rounded except for the 22nd fret that feels much higher than the rest of the frets. I'm planning on sanding it down during my next string change.

Any advice on how I can get that Spiro Dussias level tightness on 25.5" scale length on the low E?

I'm learning a whole heap of AAL songs this month and I'm struggling to get an articulate thumping tone. Im using Archetype Abasi and a Strandberg with Fishman fluences. Is there a preset I can tweak that's better for thumping?

I just watched the Shrine last night and I didn't expect it to be the emotional roller coaster that it was. Every cast performance was incredible and we saw a side to them we usually don't see such as an empathetic Ronan and all out sympathy for Rodney.

Having elderly parents really drove home the fear of dimentia. I just couldn't help but tear up over all the flashbacks to Rodney's mental deterioration.

Imo it's one of the surprise shining moments of SGA that I just wasn't expecting. Also, the whole part about journeying all the way to the shrine just for one last moment to say good bye to Rodney, .... I just couldn't hold back tears as a grown man.

What was everyone's thoughts?

I see a lot of posts on running local LLM's and I'm curious enough to get started with one. What is the use case for your local LLM's? How do we get started with one? Can you share learning resources on getting started with them?

I'm learning Dream Theater's - Fatal Tragedy and the final unison harmony between the keyboard and guitar has a unique melody in B Phyrgian Dominant (5th mode of E harmonic Minor, b2, Maj3) and it jumps up an octave and also up a 4th. Usually in most lessons I've come across in the past, there's a choice of harmonising up to the 5th and 7th but this phrase is unique in which we have:

I notice we're jumping between B Phrygian Dominant and B Phrygian but I'm not able to understand the theory behind what's going on and why it sounds so unique in the sense it goes from tension, darker to resolved (happier).

Before with logic Pro X, I could have a background loop and record multiple takes off a guitar solo while hearing my playing and the loop itself.

Now with this new input monitoring toggle with logic Pro 12 I can either hear the backing track or I can hear myself playing but not both. What am I doing wrong? What do I need to enable up hear both myself playing guitar through a plugin while having a backing track playing?

I have Arturia's Analog labs, V collection pro, Komplete select and have a Novation launchkey. I'm incredibly tempted by Akai's Studio Instruments and that would mean needing to pick up an Akai MPK mini IV.

Has anyone tried it and compared it to the competition? Is it worth getting a new midi controller just for these libraries, or is that money better put towards serum 2, UHE Diva or Abysnth 6?

In interested in checking out the Akai MPK MINI IV, just to try out the studio instruments. However, I already have Analog Labs pro, V collection Pro, Komplete Select and Novation Play?

Does the artist have an ableton live session with instruments loaded up in session view and they switch between tracks using their midi keyboard to record loops?

How do they record / lock in what they last played? Are all the tracks armed?

I'm confused, I just levelled up the character with whisper caches and have the red sermon from a two handed ancestral I found with my other characters. I also have a Heir of Perdition from my stash.

As I don't have the Dauntless of Faith charm set nor all the aspects (glynns, penitent, zealots covenant), should I run the leveling skill tree or end game skill tree?

Secondly, in the youtube videos for the build, the pali dashes forward with the zeal animation. Mine stops and stands in one place for the animation. Shouldn't it dash forward like the rogue? Zeal is equiped to my right click and if I hold down it just stands still ....

How is this played?

Scenes from a memory had a profound effect on me since I heard the album in grade 7. Years later it led me into getting in the works of Dolores Canon and Brian Wiess with Past Life regression.

From a recent discussion with a friend of mine who is a diehard D2 fan was telling me all he noticed this time round that he didn't pick up when playing the game on release.

I get we were younger and may have not picked up on everything but I'm curious, has anyone replayed the entire series (D1-D4) and notice things about the game, characters, lore and game stories they didn't pick up on the first play through?

I still get chills thinking back to D2: Lord of Destruction and how cool the barbarian town in the mountains. Was an incredible experiencing that for the first time.

I leveled up two other characters and was thinking of trying Pali before the season ends. I played auradin and hammerdin in season 11 and took a break. Which is the most fun and cosy leveling for Pali this season?

I'm considering a maxroll guide for either blessed hammer, Shield of retribuition, Judgement or Zeal. My favourite move set was falling star so I am leaning towards blessed hammer.
