I find them so fascinating beyond something just "Pretty". I am currently trying to reproduce some of that wonderful and meaningful history into modern pieces. I made this Roman "Lunula" pendant for myself. Girls wore them from infancy to protect their vulnerability. The crescent shape connected the wearer to the moon goddess and symbolized fertility and womanhood. I am now working on creating a piece inspired by Ancient Egypt 😍 and have drawn some viking designs! I would love to learn about and recreate adornments and symbolism from other cultures what should I look into? What would you personally wear? I would love your inspiration 🥰🙏

Group Mod help??

Hello 👋 I have a sub Reddit which I would like to now close/delete/remove from Reddit. But I see even that I am the mod and owner of the group I can't do so??😅 Reddit is weird!

I didn't know this was a thing! Is there any way I can hide it or do anything for it to not exist anymore in another way? 😂😂

Thank you for your time

Bezel cup did not sinter in place fell out after firing. Solder question..

I was going to post this in a general jewellery group but they would probably question how I have never soldered before 😅

I fire my silver clay pieces with bezels embedded this is the first time one hasn't been attached after the kiln. I am not sure why! So now I need to re attach a bezel cup!

I keep meaning to try soldering as of course it's an important basic skill for jewellery making and now the opportunity has arrived!

I was wondering if anyone has used "easy" solder paste it comes in a syringe and is already mixed with flux. Would this be the easiest starting point for a beginner?? Would I just pop a tiny bit in the hole (maybe make a little space), place the cup in the hole and then torch fire?

Or is it more complicated than that? Haha 😂

Would buying flux and solid solder be easier/better?

Thankful of any advice thank you ❤️🙏

I went to a local gemstone fair & got carried away! 😅 I decided I would buy an opal to be put in my engagement ring💍 But came out with three 😂 oops 😍🫣

My gemstone knowledge is limited to oooh that's pretty! Haha.

I went to a local gemstone fair just to look around at the pretty things! And I ended up buying three opals with the intention to have one in a ring for myself but I have chosen a completely different idea for my ring and no longer need any of these what would you estimate these are worth?

The first one is a purple UV lighting ridge opal, the second one I was I am not sure the type but it has a honeycomb shape inside it and the last an opal opal? 😂🫣 Mainly clear with colour flashes.

Thank you kindly for any help! ❤️❤️💕

Hey ❤️ How to get my hair (first photo) to a peachy orange like in the second photo

Hello 👋 my hair has been dyed semi permanent dark red for many years & I wanted to go lighter with minimal damage. Ideally I wanted to go yellow but thought that would be very difficult Haha 😅 so I dyed my a vibrant orange , then a paler orange for a year slowly trying to get lighter without stripping/lightening/bleaching all my hair. I now have got it to a very kind of patchy coral colour haha. I go to the salon to have foils in to lighten my natural roots just twice or three times a year but I do all the fashion colours myself at home regularly. It hasn't been long since I went to the salon as you can see not much roots at the moment. I am wanting to now get my hair to be a light peach specifically orangey peach NOT pink! I have my own natural dark hair through my hair from bits that haven't been in foils "balayage"? And also some warmer tones maybe from red staining or just not washed out yet. How can I achieve this peach shade?

I am thinking use clarifying shampoo/semi permanent colour remover to get out as much darker colour as I can. Then possibly bleach bath combed through my hair in a few different stages/days so I don't damage my hair too much? Then apply a peach dye. Would that be the right way to go about it? Some advice would be very helpful!

Although I have dyed my hair many many times I have never lightened it at home. My hair is in good healthy condition currently.

Also recommendations on brands that do a peach shade that isn't pink based? Or I can mix my own? I currently use crazy colour.

Thank you 💞💞😁
