أنا طالب توي مخلص السنة التحضيرية وانشالله راح ابدأ مسيرتي في كلية الطب بعد الإجازة. حاب اسأل للي عدت معاهم المرحلة ذي وش تنصحون لواحد فالبدايات؟ مثل كيفية الدراسة ومصادر مفيدة ومواد وtopics معينة آخذ حذري منها، وما غيره من اي شي مفيد
Does anyone know a good adhd specialist for diagnosing in Jeddah? Especially one that has a backround with teens/young adults as I am 19.
العام كنت توجيهي وكان علي تحصيلي وقدرات، ابوي كان ضاغط علي جدا اني انقبل طب وما كان عندي مانع لأني أنا كنت حاب الفكره من الأساس، لاكنها كانت فتره مره موتره فحياتي بسبب مذاكرة التحصيلي وهواجيس قبول الجامعه، معدلي A+ وجايب كويس فالقدرات لاكن التحصيلي نكب موزوننتي (جبت فبداية السبعينات حسبي الله علفيزياء والرياضيات)
بعد ما طلعت النتيجه كذبت على الوالد اني جبت ٧٩ الي هي ما تكفي طب اصلن بس قلت أكيد أهون من العلامة الحقيقية، وكمان شوي زوت فالقدرات الصراحة 😩 ابوي عصب وفصل علي عل النتايج الي مب حقيقية اصلن لاكن فالنهاية دخلني كلية أهلية وما عرف اي شي لان أنا الي حليت كل أوراق القبول وانا الي سلمت كل شي. أنا توقعت أنها مب مره مشكلة الكلية الأهلية لان مستوانا المادي كويس جدا الحمدالله
عدت السنة التحضيرية على خير وعلاماتي كويسه وكونت أصدقاء ومعارف وبشكل عام كانت سنة حلوة الحمدلله، فجأة قبل كم يوم الوالد يسألني على الfinals وقلتله ان باقيلها حوالي أسبوع، قالي تمام وان لازم اشد حيلي عشان اجيب منحة. سألته بيتكلم عن ايش وقالي انه بيحاول يجبلي منحة من الوزارة. قلتله من متى يسوون كذا قالي ذا شي معروف وكثير عملوها. طبعا على طول اتفجعت لأن خفت يسألني أن ارسل درجات قياس بسبب المنحه. دورت فالموضوع وطلع فعلن كان في منح حكومية للكليات الأهلية لاكن مقفلينه من زمان. قلت الحمدلله ورحت اقل للوالد المعلومة عشان يبطل من هالفكرة الي ممكن تفضحني. قال لا في طريقة ثانية من الديوان نطلب دعوة يعملون امر ان يسون لي انا منحة. مدري لو هالكلام صح ولا لا وما اضن انه صح اصلن لاكن والله اني متوتر
مدري شسوي، والله اني عملت الي علي أنا ودرست وتعبت لا هذي الدرجة الي طلعت لي ولو اهلي عرفو كانو بهذلوني ولو يكتشفون الي عملته بعدها هتقوم مصيبة على راسي. طبعا في احتمال انه ما يسوي من الي قاله واصلن لان مب اول مره يقول شي وبعدين ما ينفذه، بس هو مرا يحب يوفر فمدري والله ههههههههه خلوني فدعواتكم
Hey everybody I hope you’re well, I’m currently in my foundational year of med school. So far I haven’t taken any real medicine it’s mostly related subjects (sciences, communication skills, medical terminology, etc) but next September is my first real year of medical school.
I have a set of questions that I hope my older peers can answer based on previous experience
1: any general preparations do you advise me to take?
2: what subjects and/or topics should I be on the lookout for? (Eg histology, physiology, nutrition, etc)
3: how do you manage your time between eat, sleep, etc and studying?
4: is it true that med school students will have to sacrifice their hobbies, going out, seeing friends, etc, for the sake of med school? If not how do you manage your time doing both?
5: what study/memorization tips do you have?
6: what YouTube channels/online resources do you recommend?
7: at what stage/year do you recommend I should take my country’s licensing exam? Or the USMLE since I’m considering doing my residency in the US
8: for those doing research papers, what year should I start working on mine and how do I find suitable collaborators? What resources do you use for rewatch?
Of course any piece of advice that you have outside of these questions is welcome as I kinda feel lost and need anything I can get, thank you for your time🙏

Hey everyone, I’m a 19 year old male med student in Saudi, born and raised like what the title says. I’ve seen people from other countries do an ama like this as well as other actual Saudis so I decided to give this a try too. I know my country has an interesting reputation worldwide so I thought why not answer questions and share the experience of living in this country through my POV? السلام عليكم أدور على حلاق يعرف يتعامل مع الشعر الطويل. الحلاق اللي أروح له عادةً جدًا محترم لكن آخر مرة رحت له كنت مطوّل شعري وكان ماشي كويس بس احتجت اعدله شوي لأن كان عندي زواج وكان شعري شوي مخربط. وريته صور ذي على أساس ذي الحلاقة الي أبيها، وفجأة الرجال معطيني قصة مضروبة وما لها دخل بالصور.
في احد عنده عنده حلاق فجدة يعرف يتعامل مع الشعر الطويل؟ شكرا
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a barber that knows how to trim long hair. The barber i usually go to is rlly nice but the last time I went, I was growing my hair out and it was coming along nicely but I needed to get it trimmed as I had a wedding coming up and it was getting a bit messy, I asked him to do something like in the images and the dude gives me a badly made low taper fade instead🥲
It feels like the only 2 cuts most Jeddah barbers know are buzz and fade which isn’t what I’m looking for, which is why I’m asking if there are any good barbers that are good with long hair, my budget is flexible so any suggestion is welcome. Thanks

I’m currently at the second term of my foundational year of med school and I’m struggling. I’m having severe procrastination problems and can’t get myself to study. I didn’t have this problem when I first started foundation year I studied consistently idk what’s going on with me, maybe it’s fatigue from a whole year of school
I’m worried bc I don’t want my gpa to tank as it already isn’t as high as I want it to be. I have 6 years left but I still wanna secure a good residency spot and that’ll be hard to do with average/poor gpa

Hey everyone, I have a really bad problem with frizz and it makes my hair look like a mess even after I put effort into styling it. This is especially true in the days I put shampoo in (I need to apply shampoo atleast once a week bc my hair gets oily)
Usually when I style my hair the first 10-20 minutes look amazing then my hair dries and puffs up and looks like a mess. I use oil replacement which is a type of leave in which kinda helps but I’m looking for a stronger method that doesn’t get my hair too oily. Thanks a lot

أنا طالب سنة تحضيرية في كلية الطب، شايل هم موضوع الخصخصة والصحة القابضة، شايل هم ٧ سنين دراسة وتعب وبعدها كم سنة تخصص واخرتها اجلس في البيت عاطل، أي أحد عنده معلومات عن وضع القابضة؟ وإيش ممكن أسوي عشان استعد وأضمن الوظيفة بعد ما أخلص دراستي؟
