Am I missing something

Am I missing something

I'm even following a guide on the side, this is Ross ' house, I'm trying to rescue her daughter. This one should open with nothing more other than having Karn in the First position right?

Looking for a distro

Hi, I'm looking for a lightweight distro to put on an old i3 laptop with a legacy bootloader, which possibly has already integrated Nvidia drivers (not gonna game on this one, it's just that fedora gave me hell trying to install the drivers) and let's me choose between various desktop environments. Thanks in advance

Scored this bad boy for 95 bucks... Other than looking old, is everything looking good?

Been wanting a speed king for a while now and this guy accepted my offer, that in my opinion was insanely low (from 150€ to 95€), and I wanted to be sure that everything looked alright. I don't see any substantial damage or wear (other than being a really old pedal obviously), and I really need a second opinion. Am I missing something?

Monster Hunter Rise finally works for me!

Locked 30 fps, medium underclock applied through clustertune.

I'm using proton 11.0-1, Bionic, turnip v26 R8, at 720p resolution.

Game didn't work for me until I activated the "virtual ram swap" in the console advanced settings (it's a 8gb model)

Clustertune in action, great energy saving and temp mitigating

repo link

Clustertune works as a basic underclocker with adjustable variables and 3 pre made presets.

As you can see in pic 1, temps drop dramatically and the power consumption gets cut almost in half, giving you handheld a longer battery life with quieter fans. In the last picture in pic1, I disabled the last 3 cpu cores in the "advanced" settings in gamenative, cutting even more the power drain on a game that didn't need that much horsepower, with basically no trade offs. In the second and third pic, I included games that benefit on a minor scale, since the performance is quite the same but the temps are lower by what I define an insane margin

The large underclock preset made my console quieter while playing switch games, giving benefits in temps and battery life on what would make the console warmer, not that much but still, such as: MK8d, mhgu (60 fps patch and hd textures), Metroid dread.

Console: Retroid Pocket 6 8GB

Game(s): Grandia HD remaster (Gamenative 1.0), Alien Isolation (Gamenative 1.0), Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak (Gamenative 1.0)

Gamenative skipping .mp4 cutscenes in games?

I'm playing through grandia HD remaster on my RP6 and a thing I noticed is that the game automatically skips the starting cutscene. So I went into the container and tried to open the cutscenes myself and they don't load, does gamenative not support .mp4 files or do I have to change something in the container?

Literally happened overnight, what could be the cause?

I already bought a replacement lcd for the screen, but I'm curious about how this happened. At first I thought the battery was swelling and pressed through the components, but the battery looks fine? Did my screen just decide to die? The digitizer still works luckily, even though replacing it wouldn't have been that much of an issue. When I opened it and I saw this I felt scared as fuck, I've had this little guy since my youth

The ultimate MHGU experience

Both docked and in handheld mode, the RP6 (8gb) runs MHGU at 1080p giving a locked 60fps experience, even with the Pixel Cover HD mod. During heavier loads the fan can get a bit loud (especially in docked mode), but the temps never skyrocket, especially if ran through a charger with "charge separation". It runs pretty much flawlessly at 720p tho, if you don't care about that 1080p boost. Can reach up to 120fps in both 720 and 1080p, but for my use case, 60 is more than enough. This is one of the cases in which running a game on better hardware made me fall in love with it, I really couldn't stand playing this game on my switch. Sadly this game in particular makes me wish I went with the dpad top configuration, but shit happens man

Highly recommend this record from my local scene

Doesn't last much, but it's such a gem to me. Passional, both slow and fast, heavy and light and feels melancholic through its entire run. Have been listening to this one recurrently, not one or two tracks, but in it's entire shape. Quite an album it is

Need help identifying the missing stellazzio

I have collected 11/12(13**) stellazzio coins, but I don't know which one is missing. I can't remember well, is there any way to identify the ones I have here? I'm trying but the fact that they're too pixelated and moving isn't helping.

About custom backplates

I was interested into getting/commissioning a custom backplate for my rp6, anyone got any info? Can't find anything sadly.

Have an HDD with some movies on it, the rp6 works great for playback

The movie is Hard Boiled (John Woo), ran through vlc while the unit is connected to a USB-c travel hub that lets it connect both a screen and an external drive (supports 4K60hz but my monitor is 1080p). Weights less than a laptop and performs just as fine, it's not MPC but it works. Quality looks seamless, subtitles work automatically but I find it pretty hard to understand vlcs interface on Android, but it's a good start. Could even replace my HDD with a direct jellyfin integration, but for now it's alright. Hope that some of yall will find this interesting/useful, have a good evening.

PS4 streaming works pretty well

Streaming PS4 through Chiaki gave me access to my old library and savefiles with a stable 30fps/720p connection (60fps is available only through PS4pro/ps5, same for the resolurion) and very low/almost not noticeable input lag. Frame rate and resolution are not that relevant because I'm using it mainly to play MHW: Iceborne, a game that's locked at 30fps/720p, and makes it weight less on the connection (= more stability). I recently bought Gravity Rush 2 on sale, that's gonna be my next title.

Device: Retroid Pocket 6 8gb

Game: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
