Hello everyone, feel free to share your opinions.
I was in Yosemite last week, and it was incredibly crowded. I expected it, so I was fine with it, but it got me thinking: how crazy or bad of an idea would it be if every park entrance had a massive parking lot where day-use visitors had to park? From there, a fleet of hybrid/electric buses could transport everyone to the destinations inside Yosemite, unless they have a campground permit, wilderness pass, or hotel reservation.
Essentially, it would be a system like Zion National Park, where buses take you into the main canyon. Is this totally unfeasible, or am I missing something?
I'm asking because it looks like the NPS is actually building more parking spaces in the valley right now.
