I don’t know if anyone else did this, but whenever I’d turn on Disney Channel, I was always hoping a specific Hannah Montana episode would be on. (Especially since this was during the days of cable tv obviously) For me, it was always the Season 1 episode where Miley and Lilly both try out for cheerleading, Lilly becomes head cheerleader, and Miley ends up as the mascot. 😂 I was also obsessed with the Season 1 camping trip episode where they go on the school camping trip with Amber and Ashley. Those were the episodes I’d get so excited to see whenever they happened to be airing.

I’ve always gotten the impression that Christi has a much softer spot for Kenzie than Maddie, even just from the way she talks about them now on her podcast. I noticed it on Dance Moms too, sometimes it seemed like she really empathized with Kenzie, especially when she’d tell her things like “Just go out there and be Kenzie. You don’t need to be Maddie, Kenzie is just as good”

Christi has spoken publicly about having a difficult childhood and dysfunctional family relationships including with her own mom and sister, so I wonder if her own personal experiences influenced which kids she felt protective of. It makes me wonder if Christi saw a little bit of her younger self in Kenzie, and whether her own childhood experiences shaped some of the way she reacted to the Zieglers.

Obviously none of us know, and this is just speculation, but I’ve always been curious whether her past influenced those dynamics. Am I reading too much into it, or has anyone else wondered the same thing?

No hate to Kenzie at all, I’m genuinely just curious because I remember when she rescued Rocky the pitbull who she said was going to be euthanized the next day. And I can totally understand why Kenzie made that decision in the moment, knowing a dog’s life was on the line would make a lot of people act quickly and emotionally. That being said, I always wondered what happened to him? Rocky was a pretty large dog, and Kenzie has such a busy lifestyle with traveling, work, etc., so I can understand how a giant dog could become difficult to manage. It seemed like maybe it was a decision made from the heart without necessarily having time to think through all the long-term logistics.

Now she has a dachshund (I think her name is Bambi?), so I was just wondering if anyone knows if Rocky was rehomed, stayed with someone else, or if there was ever an update about him?

Again, this isn’t meant as hate toward Kenzie, I actually think it was really sweet that she stepped up for a dog who needed saving. I’m just curious because I remember Rocky and always wondered what ended up happening to him.
