Mindfulness in Low-Poly: My new Zen Cat sculpture & incense burner

"Sometimes you just need to breathe, look around, and cherish what you have to find your balance and inner peace."

Hey everyone! Just dropped a brand new mindfulness-inspired model on MakerWorld: a low-poly Zen cat deep in meditation. 🧘‍♂️🐾

The best part? It actually doubles as an incense stick holder! The base with the hole prints separately, so you can easily mix and match colors if you want.

Clean lines, minimalist vibes, and it comes in 3 different sizes. Plus, it's a nice little reminder to pause and catch your breath every now and then.

As always, likes and collections on MakerWorld go a long way in helping it get noticed. Let me know what you think, and drop any feedback in the comments!

I've created and published this new Sicilian Traditional Moor's Head model on Makerworld!

Bring a piece of authentic Italian tradition into your home by printing this Sicilian Moor’s Head (Testa di Moro) model. Inspired by classic Sicilian ceramic art, this detailed sculpt features an upper cavity designed as a stylish catch-all tray, desk organizer, or key holder.

Check it out here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3371824-sicilian-traditional-moor-head-catch-all-container#profileId-3835047

It's available in different sizes: Small (130mm tall), Medium (180mm tall), Big (250mm), XL (325mm). Maybe I'll make the female version soon too!

Do you like it ? Let me know your feedbacks :)

What about the tradition:

The Testa di Moro (Moor's Head) is one of Sicily's most famous artistic symbols, dating back to around the year 1100, during the period of Arab rule in Palermo.

According to legend, a young Moor fell in love with a beautiful local girl who spent her days tending to plants on her balcony. When she discovered that he would soon return to his homeland where a wife and children awaited him, she was overcome by heartbreak and fury.

During the night, while he slept, she severed his head and turned it into a vase for her sweet basil, watering it daily with her tears. The basil grew so lush and fragrant that her neighbors, filled with envy, began crafting head-shaped ceramic pots to display on their own balconies.

Today, the Moor's Head stands as an iconic emblem of Sicilian passion, craftsmanship, and romantic folklore and you can find them everywhere in sicily, in different styles and usually made of ceramics.

Aztec Tribal Spirit - Multi Pattern, Multi Color Vase made with VesselMaker.app

Hi everyone! I present to you the new model that I published on MakerWorld: Tribal Spirit Aztec!

It is an Aztec / tribal style vase with 4 relief patterns on the surface (made with VesselMaker.app, the tool for creating vases with relief effects that we created).

There are two printing profiles: one for solid color printing, and one in which the four patterns are separated and a different color can therefore be assigned to each area, up to 4 total colors.

In the example below I used the Elegoo PLA Wood Walnut filament in the 3 areas of the body, which gives a porous and pleasantly matte surface, and the BambuLab PLA Sparkle Gold for the area with the rings, in the neck of the vase, obtaining a nice contrast effect.

What do you think? If you want, leave a like and add it to the collections to support me! PS: a few months ago we started offering the Commercial License for those who would like to use our work for commercial purposes, for now at a discounted price :)

VesselMaker is now in Public Beta! Design premium vases with relief surfaces you can feel now!

Hi everyone! VesselMaker developer here!

Big update for anyone who’s been following along: VesselMaker is now in open beta — no invite needed anymore. Anyone can sign in and start designing. We’ll send discount codes / redeem codes for subscription plans to the users which tried and actively used VesselMaker during the beta phase, by sending us their feedbacks and suggestions.

What we are most excited about: Tactile Relief Surfaces!

The thing we’re most excited about, and what makes VesselMaker different: you can design premium vases with rich, tactile relief surfaces — geometric reliefs, clay ripples, knurled patterns, ribs, bark, woven textures and more — that don’t just look good on screen, but come out as real, touchable relief in your prints. Run your fingers over a printed piece and you actually feel the 3d texture. All this easily, without any experience with CAD or modeling softwares!

Here’s how it works: with the Surface Texture modifier you apply a relief to your model using built-in textures (patterns) or your own uploads. You can stack multiple textures across different parts of the vase, overlap them, and fade the transitions — so a single piece can have a knurled body, ribbed neck, and a smooth base, all blended naturally.

See the images belows for some examples of models we have created (and published on MakerWorld) using VesselMaker!

What is VesselMaker?

For those seeing this for the first time: VesselMaker (vesselmaker.app) is an online tool for designing Premium vases, planters and bowls easily, without the hard learning curve of CAD or modeling softwares like Fusion, Blender, etc… Beyond the relief surfaces, it has stackable modifiers you combine like Photoshop layers, a profile & cross-section editor, and AI-rendered scene previews to generate beautiful renderings of your vase to preview them in realistic scenes like a curated living room.

The idea: the advanced designs you’d make in CAD, but without the CAD learning curve.

What’s new since the closed beta:

  • It’s open to everyone — just sign in now, no waitlist, no invite code
  • Export is free for everyone during the beta— including models that use the Surface Texture modifier and other premium features. We are still balancing what will be free and what paid after the beta.
  • A built-in Academy (Help → Academy) with short step-by-step lessons, so you can go from your first vase to advanced textured designs without guessing — plus a quick onboarding when you first open it
  • New modifiers and features added over the past weeks, with more on the roadmap

You can see real examples of these textured vases on our MakerWorld profile.

Try it now: Sign In at vesselmaker.app

Still a beta, so if you hit a bug or have an idea, there’s now a Help → Contact Support button right in the tool, or just reply here. Your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.

Would love to see what models you come up with!

I've just published Kalis Duality Vase Set - Made using the web tool I'm developing - Feedback appreciated!

Hey everyone!

I just finished designing and published this new vase set called Kalis Duality on Makerworld.

And I would like to know your feedback. Do you like the whole design and this 3d pattern effect on its surface? I have created this vase using the web tool I'm developing: VesselMaker.

The goal was to create something clean and modern with a woven chevron texture that works equally well as a monochrome ceramic-look piece or with a metallic accent on the top rim (using Matte White + Silk Gold in the photos).

Details:

• Includes: Tall Vase, Wide Vase, and a custom-contoured display tray to hold them as a set.

• Dual-Color: The top band allows for an easy color accent, but you can also print it monochromatic if you like.

If you save it for later or plan to print it, dropping a Like or adding it to your Collection on MakerWorld helps me out immensely as a creator!

I made a Modern Sicilian Pinecone Vase with VesselMaker - the vase modelling web tool I'm developing

Hey guys!
Just dropped Pinea on MakerWorld—a modern, geometric twist on the traditional Sicilian "Pigna" pinecone: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3167235-pinea-modern-sicilian-pinecone-vase#profileId-3580265

The diamond pattern plays with light amazingly well and naturally hides layer lines. It comes in 3 sizes (S, M, XL) and looks great in bold Pop Art colors as well as soft pastel or matte tones for a minimal aesthetic.

Fun fact: I designed this using VesselMaker (https://vesselmaker.app/), an advanced web tool for vase modelling tool that I'm currently developing (it's currently in invite-only private beta, if you want to try it just sign in and contact me, I'll be glad to grant the access if you share your feedbacks).

If you like the model, a like or adding it to your collections on MakerWorld would mean a lot and really helps me out!

Check it out and let me know your thoughts if you give it a print. Happy printing!

VesselMaker in action — first GIFs of the parametric vase/planter tool (textures, modifiers, AI rendering)

Hey everyone — a few weeks ago I posted here about VesselMaker, the vase modeling tool for makers we've are developing, but never actually showed what it looks like in action, just described the features in text. Fixing that today: this is the first time I'm sharing screenshots/GIFs of it actually running.

Quick heads up before the showcase: we've started rolling out early access in daily batches, so if you join the waitlist now, you could be trying it out within days rather than waiting for a full public launch — vesselmaker.app.

Now, here's what it can actually do (see the attached gifs):

Realistic surface textures — apply relief using built-in or custom height maps, stack multiple textures across different regions of the same piece (even overlapping them), with control over the fade between them:

AI-rendered scenes — describe a setting in plain text and get your exact model rendered into it, useful for previews or marketing shots:

Stackable modifiers, similar to Photoshop layers — combine, reorder, apply multiple instances (Surface Texture, Twirl, Bend, Taper, more coming):

Advanced profile & cross-section editing — full control over both the vertical profile and the horizontal cross-section (freeform, N-fold symmetry, squircle, waves, polygonal):

PBR material editor — glossy, matte, metallic finishes, save and reuse your own presets.

Still in closed beta (a few bugs left, some feature requests from early testers already in the pipeline), but it's already very fun to use, and it's shaping up fast thanks to the feedback so far.

We have a lot of ideas in the roadmap and we would love to hear from this community specifically — what would actually be useful for the kind of tools you use day to day?

Building VesselMaker — an advanced vase & planter generator (feedback welcome!)

Hi everyone!
We’re building VesselMaker (vesselmaker.app), an online tool for designing vases, planters, bowls, etc… — profile and cross-section editors, displacement mapping for realistic material textures (clay, wood, scratched surfaces), stackable modifiers you can combine like Photoshop layers (bend, twist, and a others like Voronoi modifier coming soon), plus AI-rendered scene previews to visualize the piece before printing or to create marketing images for you creations.

We know MakerWorld already has Make My Vase in MakerLab — we’re aiming for a more advanced, actively evolving take on the same space, for people who want finer control over their professional designs.

Still in closed beta (a few bugs to iron out, more features on the way). The waitlist is at vesselmaker.app — you’ll get notified when we open up, plus we will send some invite codes before opening the beta to the public.

Before we go further, we’d love your input:

  • What feature would you most want us to prioritize next?
  • What are you usually designing these for — home decor, gifts, plant pots, something else?
  • What’s the most frustrating part of designing something like this in other tools (CAD, Blender, Make My Vase, etc.)?

Drop your thoughts below — really looking forward to shaping this with your feedback!

Presenting Galatea's Dance Vase

I would like to show you my last creation on Makerworld - Galatea's Dance, made with VesselMaker.app (a professional vase/vessel modeling tool with AI rendering and realistic texture surfaces we are developing).

Inspired by the myth of transformation, Galatea's Dance Vase is a striking exploration of movement frozen in time. Its deeply organic, sweeping ridges create an elegant play of light and shadow, shifting dynamically from every perspective. Like fabric caught in motion, the silhouette balances a powerful sculptural presence with delicate, undulating curves. Use it as a centerpiece decorative vase, alone or with dried flowers or feathers.
