Just wanted opinions about best speaker location, dash, door, or kickers.

I’m leaning towards dash myself, but what do you have, how do you like it, would you change it if you could?

As the title says, I have an extra ticket for Roxx Fest, Friday the 19th.

Cost of the ticket: one beer

I bought two tickets in case I was dating someone and they could go with me. That’s currently not the case, and I don’t want it to go to waste.

You will not be required to hang out with me (though you could if you really wanted too). We just go in together, you buy me a beer, and you can go on your merry way!

If anyone found a camera and tripod at the cross tracks in Hammond near Osborne Ave, please reach out to me. 😭

I was using my iPhone and a my camera on a tripod. I guess I got so focused on getting to the next location, that I completely forgot to grab it I guess. I realized it when I got to Valpo.

Three time this week. Three times I’ve been ghosted after price and pickup! All of them were over an hour drive away.

#1) $20 folding table

I left after sitting for $30 minutes. Never heard from her again. I reported her as a scam. Conversation started at noon the same day.

#2) $50 wheel barrow

It’s Friday evening and my drive home has increased to over two hours sure to Chicago traffic….

Why? What possess these people to think this is ok? I’m driving a truck, I’ve wasted $100 in gas just to pick up nothing!

I grew up middle class. Just plain middle class, in a plain middle class neighborhood. Dad was a phone man, made $38k/yr (plus overtime, so closer to $45k). Mom didn’t work. We had a three bedroom house, I had a sister and a dog. We never went hungry, we took one or two “cheaper” vacations a year. Both parents had cars. We had a camper. We didn’t have anything extravagant, but we had things.

I just broke the 6 digit barrier; I officially make over $100k/yr. And according to an article I read recently, I’m lower middle class. LOWER. MIDDLE. CLASS.

Growing up, my dad, who never went to collage, would “scare” me by saying “you don’t want to end up being a phone man like me, do you? You want to be better than that, right?” He was right. I studied hard, I had my first desk job at 17. I went to college. I fought through the ranks. I finally made it, at 48 years old, to 6 figures.

And my classification is lower than a phone man. I worked hard, and for what?
