Looking for a Warm/Neutral Temp, Fast Breakfast Food

Hey all! I’m looking for a breakfast to have during the winter, especially on days I have to work. Currently, I have a smoothie with frozen fruit, orgain vanilla protein powder, chia seeds, and oat milk.

Unfortunately for me and my love of routine, those get unpleasant once it gets below 30°. I am looking for a winter replacement. Here are my desires:
-must be at least 350 calories
-should be neutral temperature or warm
-vegetarian
-takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare in the mornings (I’m fine doing meal prep weekly or the night before though)
-will keep me full from 8:30-12
-I should be able to eat it one handed/in the car
-bonus points for nutritionally balanced/well rounded, as well as bonus points if it’s cheap!

The current options I have are
-Huel Black: this is my favorite option but it’s a little pricey right now (I’m also a little scared I won’t like it)
-2 packets of instant oatmeal mixed with a quarter cup of chia seed pudding: this seems like a good option, but its carb heavy and I worry about it’s ability to keep me full

Crochet Pattern Scam?

I genuinely can’t tell if this is a weird scam or if someone has incorrectly put my email down and I’m talking to people who can’t fathom that.

In the past 24 hours I’ve gotten three emails to my primary inbox from plausible looking email addresses. All three have been about crochet patterns that I’m apparently selling. I replied to all three, and two of them email back seeming to not understand, but the third didn’t respond. The fact that I’m posting here should be enough to let you in that I do not sell crochet patterns. There have been no links sent or anything though, so I’m not sure what they’d be trying to scam me of. One of the emails was polite and well written, while the other two were no capitals/no punctuation questions. I don’t think I’m allowed to post pictures in this subreddit, but it’s very strange

Mystery chronic fatigue is ruining my life

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m 24 years old and have been dealing with chronic fatigue since I was around 14-15.

When I was in school, I’d drift off during class and fall asleep on the theater floor in between school and rehearsal. Now I’m 24 and I sleep 8-10 hours a night with really solid sleep hygiene and it hasn’t gone away. I’ve tried more/less exercise, changing my medications, dealing with my depression, and changing my caffeine routines

Nothing has helped. If I’m not working, I’ll usually take an hour and a half long nap at some point during the day, and if I am, I’ll often spend at least an hour being completely unproductive because all I can focus on is keeping myself awake. I’ve taken 6 years to get a bachelors degree because I’m so exhausted all the time that I struggle to do homework on time. At least once a month I have a day where I totally collapse and sleep 16+ hours. Over the 32 hours from Aug. 3 @ 11:00 pm to Aug. 5 at 7:00 am, I was up for 2 of them. I went to work today after I spent all that time sleeping, and I had to leave early because I had fallen asleep.

I’ll fall asleep while sitting at work, while talking to people, outside, and sometimes I’ll have to pull over when driving because I’m so tired I’m scared to be operating my motor vehicle.

All my blood levels are normal and have been since high school. My HSAT at home sleep test came back with no signs of sleep apnea. I’m already on a stimulant because I have adhd. I see my sleep specialist again in two weeks, but that feels like such a far way away.

I don’t know what my next steps are. I know I have to address this as soon as possible because I’m going to be hunting for a full time job soon, and if I need accommodations or if there’s anything I can do to control this exhaustion I need to know.

I don’t know if it’s narcolepsy or chronic fatigue or idiopathic hypersomnia, but whatever it is, it feels like it’s ruining my life.

I can’t tell if it’s chronic fatigue or something else

TLDR: I have some sort of sleep issue and i genuinely feel like it’s ruining my life.

Since high school, I’ve been extremely sleepy. I’d fall asleep in class and take naps on the floor of the theater in between school and rehearsal. I’m now 24 and i genuinely think things have only gotten worse. I’ve tried exercise, switching medications, changes to my caffeine intake, having excellent sleep hygiene, etc. but it’s still ruining me. I called off work yesterday and slept for 22 hours all of yesterday. I went to bed at 9 pm last night after I ate dinner and woke up at 7:20 this morning. I went to work today for about 2 hours before falling asleep at work and deciding that was a sign i should go home, where i slept for another 4 hours. I get 8-10 hours of sleep a night. On days where i don’t work, I often take an hour and a half nap or longer. I don’t have sleep apnea. I don’t think I have cataplexy, though admittedly I’m not sure, so it could be narcolepsy. I’m at such a loss for what to do. I see the sleep specialist again later this month but I’ve been searching for answers for so long I’m running out of hope. This fatigue has severely impacted my college journey to the point where I’m only finally going to graduate at the end of the summer, but I’m terrified of having to get a full time job because I’m so worried about this fatigue getting in the way.

I feel like I don’t have any answers for why I’m so tired all the time, nothing I do mitigates the effects, and it’s getting in the way of me living my life

What is this steady whistling/sonar noise coming from my dishwasher???

Exactly what the title says. This is a 10ish year old dishwasher and just today it has started making this sonar “doodle-do do do” noise. It’s definitely the dishwasher, because it stops when we open it. What the hell is it?? Why is it happening?

Why do I feel so shitty after doing work?

This is kind of a vent asking for support and kind of advice seeking.

It boils down to what the title says though. I’m currently a college student approaching finals, and I spent 5 hours today doing work on various projects and late assignments. I finished at least 3 big things. I know I should be proud of and energized by getting those looming tasks done, but I don’t. I feel shitty and ashamed and tired and angry. And I don’t know why, or what I’m supposed to do about it. The same thing happened yesterday. It’s not just a finals issue, either. One of the reasons I have so many late assignments is because I feel this way so often when I do homework that I start to avoid it. It also happens a lot with my artwork too, where I want to be proud and feel like i should be, but I’m actually just ashamed and embarrassed. I’m trying to do better, so why do I feel like I feel so much worse afterwards?

That all being said, I don’t often feel like this at my job, I’m usually happy with work I accomplish there. I thought it might be a medication thing (I’m on a fairly large dose of Adderall), but the fact that I don’t experience these feelings at work makes me unsure of that conclusion. My only other thought is it could be screen-based, since I’m a digital artist and take classes online, but I also feel pride in the things I do at my job that I do on a computer, even though most of the job is not really computer based.

Is it the depression? ADHD? Autism? A secret fourth thing? Why do I feel awful after doing most work, but other work is fine???

This is kind of a vent asking for support and kind of advice seeking, so I tagged it as advice seeking because that’s really what I’d prefer.

I’m trying to download either WinterBreak or WinterBreak 2 onto my 7th gen Kindle paperwhite that’s running 5.16.2.1.1. I have 36 MB storage on the kindle, most of which is dummy files, to prevent automatic updates.

The first one I tried was WinterBreak 2 (before I updated my kindle, so I think it was running 5.8.something). I got as far as being able to pull up the WinterBreak2.now.sh website, at which point I’d hit “jailbreak”, it would tell me it was downloading a .mobi file, and then nothing would happen.

I decided to switch to trying the original WinterBreak. I get to the point where I’m supposed to click the kindle store button and it opens Mesquito instead, but no matter what I do it seems to open the regular kindle store. I’ve tried both of the troubleshooting options for that one that were listed on the kindle modding website to no avail.

The only thing I figure might be impacting it is the fact I don’t have access to a PC, so I’m using a MacBook. I know the instructions say to have a PC, but I don’t own one. I’m using keka to open/archive/extract files, which is supposed to be somewhat analogous to winrar.

Does anyone know any troubleshooting for either of these errors? I might try WinterBreak2 again tomorrow morning with the new software, but I figured I’d leave this post up while I sleep in hopes that someone might have directions or answers for me.
