I had applied for direct admission to abes. Today i got a call from the college saying that I'm eligible for btech cse, and they asked me to visit the campus. Will there be any test or interview?

I'm from outside delhi so could someone please explain how the ipu management quota works? I have decent marks in my board but my jee score is bad. how can i get admission to ipu through management quota? Also do they consider the best of 5 percentage or the pcm?
Applied to KIET through NIOS PCM marks. Counselor called, said I was eligible for CS and asked if he should send the offer letter. Based on that, I cancelled my seat in another college. Now he's saying I need to travel 1500 km and give a test because I'm from NIOS, which was never mentioned before. and now he's saying that even if I take the test, I still might not get a CS-related branch. Do they really think students' futures are a joke?
I'm getting B.Tech cse(Cyber Security) and B.Tech CS.Which one should I choose????
