Hello Redditors. I am trying to decide if the Miata (ND) RF is the answer for me. I have a list of important questions that I would like answers to. Anyways:

1. How common is it for the RF roof to fail (if ever)? If I were to purchase a Miata (ND), I would like the retractable roof to last a very long time given that it is the main selling point of the Miata RF.
2. How durable is the RF? I do not have a garage and it will be parked outside all the time (though I do not plan to park it under any trees).
3. Will freezing temperature (0° celsius / 32° fahrenheit) cause any damage to the mechanical parts of the retractable roof?
4. Do I have to succumb to a subscription to use remote start functionality (and other features) for the car?
5. Can I raise and lower the roof using my car key while standing outside my car with my car not being turned on (think remote start but rather remotely operate the roof)?
6. I am looking into buying an ND2. Between 2019 to 2023 are there any substantial differences?
7. Are you forced to use the knobby wheel thing to control the radio screen or can I also use my finger to touch the screen like a touchscreen?
8. When opening and closing the retractable roof does prior weather matter? For example, let's say it had rained an hour ago but has since cleared up but my roof is still quite wet. If I were to lower the roof back into my car, would it cause damage to any mechanical parts?

That should be all for now.

Listen closely and you can hear it in the background of her song.

Before the game eventually releases we should give this guy a name that will stick amongst the community.
