if someone bred a purebred siamese with a domestic shorthair and tested the litter, would a dna site be able to tell there was a purebred as a parent?

would the results come back as around 50% siamese and 50% domestic shorthair?

i've heard a lot of things about cat dna and i'm just curious. i don't breed cats, just wondering because i'm curious.

which is better? Maevis or Maeven. How would you pronounce these when reading them? is a different spelling for better? other spellings i'm considering

I'm intending them to be pronounced May-vis / May-vin.

Where i'm from, if i spell the names normally (Mavis / Mavin) people here pronounce the A like Matt or Gavin or Math. I really want the A to sound like May not Math. So i want the pronouncing to be easy in my area, but also easy enough where the international community can pronounce correctly.

i've been a sitter for almost a decade. i only do boarding & daycare. i've never done drop ins.

we used to leave our cats without a sitter since everything is automatic. however now they're getting older & 2 of them have special wet food that can't be automated.

so for the first time ever, im hiring a rover sitter to drop in on my cats, 2x each day for a few days.

for those who do drop ins, what can i do to make her job easier? how to make sure im a good client? thank you :)

i want to raise my rates but lock some current well behaved clients into my old rates. where has the option gone?? did they remove it??

they've said every year or two that they're looking for a way to bring back ultimates but so far it has not happened
