This does not bode well for Woodie
Worried for him. Can't keep going 2-3 starts then 6 weeks on IL

I've had some difficulties finding a 21mm Nato strap. Seems they mostly come in 20 or 22mm. Google gemini advises to go to 22mm for 21mm lugs to avoid unsightly gaps between the lugs. So I ordered a 22mm Nato for my Tudor 41 Burgundy. Does anyone have pics of a Nato on their watch where the Nato is bigger than the lug width of the watch?
After some serious deliberation, and taking into account everyone's great comments (thank you everyone), I could have gone for the Monochrome, but it's brother kept calling to me. Same specs. Then out of the blue while working with a seller on a BB 41 Burgundy, another seller offered this beauty up to me at a price I couldn't turn down. Very happy with the shade of burgundy - leans toward red but it's definitely not red but instead does what intrigues me...seemingly changes color in different lighting. It's a bit like the toned down shades on my BB GMT Pepsi - not in your face which I love. I figure the Hydroconquest or one of my Omegas will work well enough if I need to get dressed up which is less and less often these days. And I still love the HydroC!
I know Archer offers meteorite dials across different models
I own the Hydroconquest. I want the Monochrome badly. I had it down to the Monochrome vs Ultra. The Monochrome specs and flexibility won me over. I could save more up and get a Pelagos Ultra so there would be more differentiation between the two. I'm not looking to get disses on the HC. Nothing will convince me that it's anything but a great diver and a home run for Longines. It's gorgeous and running +0.3spd after 3 weeks with a comfortable bracelet and OTF micro adjust. I have a Black Bay GMT Pepsi so I'm already a Tudor fan. I could find wrist time for both. Not interested in Black Bays with similar specs (METAS) but different colorways as I'm pretty black-dial traditional. (not colorblind). I know if I did obtain a Monochrome it might overtake the HC for wrist time.
This will wear well for summer. It's white stitching that leans gray in the picture. From Strapsco. Not as easy to find good 21mm straps for the 42mm.
The Mido Oceanstar GMT while hefty, is a great watch. There seem to be only a few bezeled GMTs where the bezel is a diver-timer bezel rather than the typical 24hr bezel. My Mido is one, the Longines Hydroconquest GMT is another. The 2nd timezone on mine is read with a 24hr chapter ring on the dial. I do have a Tudor Black Bay GMT and the 24hr bezel is so much easier to read for my senior eyes.
My question is if anyone has swapped out the dive bezel on a Mido GMT Oceanstar GMT for a 24hr bezel and if so, where I would find such a beast? It would make the Oceanstar capable of reading 3 timezones as well! Thanks.
I was set on the Ultra until some posts here about their love for the monochrome. Both would work well on my 7.3" wrist. Key differences:
Date/no date
13mm vs almost 15mm height
5 link vs 3 link bracelet
Ability to dress up the monochrome
Ultra = titanium + titanium bracelet
Possible pip/lume fallout issue Ultra

Love the look of both
Very comfortable especially with the TFit.

Got the Nordsø yesterday on a BOR bracelet. First the watch. It's as close to the website pics as I had hoped. Really beautiful purple mop that dances in various lighting and is very unique. I wanted high contrast dial for legibility and with the dark purple dial and white markers and hands it's mission accomplished. No issue reading time without my reading glasses. I prefer a larger case but 40mm on this Nordsø works just fine. Bezel has absolutely no play and very pleasing clicking. The knurling on the side of the bezel is just right for gripping and turning. The case itself is brushed and sits very comfortably on my 7.25" wrist. Winding via the crown reveals the familiar bit of grittiness seemingly commonplace on the automatic Miyota movements. My Vaer similarly equipped had the same feel. The crown itself is substantial and easy to manipulate with a good amount of knurling. I have to admit after a day, I am missing a date window. But my phone is close by at all times. Lume is average. Not overly impressive but luming the bezel is a nice and unexpected feature. The lume did not seem to last all that long, but I'm not a bedtime watch wearer so won't matter. Now the bracelet. What a work of art! I originally order the Nordsø with the 3 link bracelet but I don't have a BOR bracelet and since the Nordsø seems to be able to be worn as a dress watch if desired, I thought I'd change my order to the BOR bracelet since it was offered. I emailed HA and received a prompt reply from Henrik himself that the order was changed and subsequently promptly confirmed via 2nd email. Great customer service! Surprisingly I had to remove 4 links to fit my 7.25er. Easy with the screw pins! Install a breeze with quick release endlinks. Another feature I've been looking for in bracelets: micro adjust. Took a country minute to figure out how it works but then mastered it. Brilliant! The bracelet itself has brushed outer links with the "rice" polished. I would say amongst my other bracelets this is #1 in both comfort and function. Screw pins, quick release endlinks and microadjust. Wow! I did also order the black rubber strap from HA and also has quick release endlinks and is very comfortable. Overall a happy camper. It's a keeper!
I've had the 42mm Hydroconquest about a week now. Really liking it as my first Longines. Might even cure me of Pelagos Ultra fever. The 42mm seems to wear smaller than the stated size. I have an Omega 43.5mm 1st gen Planet Ocean, and while that is an iconic watch, it wears every bit its size. Not so with the Hydroconquest. Plus with my old guy eyes, there is no legibility issue and reading time is a breeze without readers. Next, the bracelet. I've spend equal time this week with the bracelet and a Dassari fitted rubber strap from Strapco that I took a bit of a gamble on, but worked out fine. The bracelet is super comfortable and the micro adjust in the clasp works great. The 3-link bracelet IMO is a real looker and not too polished or blingy. The only slight negative is the endlinks being attached to the bracelet via springbar which is a bit of a pain when changing straps but I can live with it. And endlink and springbars being a quirky 21mm but certainly no deal breaker. Lastly, I've been checking accuracy with the Atomic Clock and Watch Accuracy app and after a few base measurements I've got today +/-0 spd. Amazing! Very impressed and happy with this watch. Longines hit it out of the park.
What a great engine. I wish they'd bring that engine back in the Accord in the future but I know it won't happen. I'm at 205,000mi and still going strong.
We bought my parents 2018 Murano SV. The only add-on it doesn't have is a powered rear lift gate. My local dealer told me they do not have a factory power liftgate that can be installed. Has anyone installed an aftermarket power liftgate? We have had 3 Muranos and all have had the power liftgate which we feel is almost a necessity these days.
Would you trade-in your Black Bay GMT Pepsi for the new BB58 GMT Coke? Looking for thoughts beyond old vs new. Thanks.
Coke= Metas, 5-link bracelet with T-fit, slimmer, better anti-magnetic resistance
Pepsi= Iconic, slightly better power reserve, slightly larger (41mm vs 39mm), more dramatic look (but to me the Pepsi's toned down maroonish red and toned down blue on the bezel hit the mark).
Fits really really well. The rubber is extremely comfortable. Skew R.rx10

I just received my black/black 42mm Hydroconquest. Took a video of the unboxing if you want to sit through 2:36 video. Lovely watch. Thanks to Toppers.
