Why does it feel like everyone seems to be taking pleasure in messaging minors or letting the waterworks on them?
I swear, ever since 2020, more and more YouTubers, celebrities, and other famous people are being accused of sexual assault towards minors. But why is this? Obviously, not every claim is truthful, but for those who actually take pleasure in going all the way with 14 year olds, why do they do it? How can you even derive pleasure from it in the first place and why is so common these days?
What’s your go to example of music being used in a movie that contrasts sharply with the action on screen.
reddit.comWhat’s the deal with this “no vibrato” thing when it comes to period performance?
Here is something I don’t understand: whenever vibrato is mentioned, I keep hearing people point to certain treaties that indicate vibrato was used for pre-20th century classical music, but so many period orchestras use little to no vibrato themselves.
- So if vibrato was used in the 18th and 19th centuries, why do conductors and string players prefer non vibrato?
- Did composers care about this sort of thing?
- Do you prefer how the music sounds this way?
I just don’t really know whether I’m supposed to love or hate this vibrato less sound.
Do you have a favorite composer movie?
BESIDES AMADEUS

youtu.beAre there any Beatles copycats, specifically ones that do or write songs in the style of the Beatles?
Let me explain: The Beatles tribute band The Fab Four released a Christmas album (Hark!) where they sing Christmas songs in the style of the Beatles. Is there another band like this?
Would John Lennon be writing songs that look back to his childhood if he got older?
Since Paul McCartney did just that in Boys of Dungeon lane, what about John? I understand we have songs like Mother and Jealous Guy, but I was thinking songs with more upbeat themes.

What are some of your biggest classical music hot takes
I’ll start: Paganini is wildly overrated. He was a flashy virtuoso, but an amateur composer.
Is Love REALLY all you need?
No, I’m not trying to sound like a jaded cynical person - I just want to see how strong people on this subreddit think love is?
