Born with bicuspid aortic valve. Please read

Hey everyone! I am a 30 year old female who was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, without stenosis. I see a cardiologist every 2-3 years and I was told that I may need surgery in my 50s-60s but no guarantee. I’ve been an anxious person my whole life but it’s been higher lately due to stress. I work a sedentary job and I want to lose 30-50 lbs.

I gained weight from previous pregnancy and previous anxiety medication. I sometimes have high bp at the doctors due to anxiety. I carry a lot of my anxiety and sheas in my neck and shoulders which makes it hard to breathe, and I also sometimes get heart palpitations or double beats and a skip.

I’ve seen the cardiologist for these symptoms between appointments before, and nothing was ever wrong. Anyways I’m wondering if anyone has had anxiety as well and how to cope. I’m always worried it’s my heart, even though I know I’m under stress. Thank you!

Edit: I’ve known for years that surgery may be down the line. I was last seen in 2025 and I’m due again in 2027

Do almond/oval nails suit my fingers/hands or rounded square?

Hey everyone! I get dip on my natural nails every 3 weeks. I have been going to a different tech at my nail salon for almost a year now (I used to go to the owner and he was nice, but he’d make them too wide) and I’ve been happy with her work. Anyways I have long fingers and long nail beds so I’m not sure the almond/oval shape makes my hands and fingers look weird or extra long? I got the square round set done on Saturday

Does it sound like I need an X-ray for my toe?

Female Age: 30 Height: 5’4

Hey everyone! I work from home and when I was sitting at my desk yesterday morning, I hit my bent fourth toe against a leg on my desk. I thought I heard a crack but I’m not sure. This was yesterday morning and I’m not noticing any issues when walking or carrying my toddler. I was pushing on it and the back of my foot and I don’t notice severe pain besides a little soreness on the back part of the area behind the toe last night and no major swelling that I can recognize. It does have a tiny bruise this morning. I have a history of health and medical anxiety so I’m stressed. Should I get an X-ray at urgent care or see how it feels? Thank
You!

Will things get better for me soon? I’ve felt stuck and lost. Please read [astro.com]

Hey everyone! I have felt very stuck lately. I’ve been married for almost 6 years come October and things are pretty much the same. My husband did stuff early on that were red flags that I ignored. He emotionally betrayed me in the past and I’m of course not perfect either. Our communication styles are vastly different too and when I try to communicate about what’s on my mind, I feel like he takes it wrong. We also never go on dates and don’t have a good sex life. I feel like all I do is work sleep repeat and I don’t have any hobbies. I have had anxiety most of my life and it’s gotten worse as an adult. My son is three and starts pre k in September and of course my husband and I are excited but also sad because he’s grown so fast and it’ll be a big change. I want to lose weight and get my confidence back as well and find myself. Overall I guess I want insight on everything that this chart shows. I can also post my natal on the natal group if needed. I’ve posted it on other posts before too. Thank you!

My childhood friend hasn’t been responding to me. Any insight? [astro.com]

Hey everyone. My childhood friend hasn’t responded to me lately and I wanted insight into what is going on. She is bad at replying to messages, but it’s gotten worse lately. We’re both 30 and have been friends since we were 8-9. Is something going on? Thank you

Only one spot of my gums between two of my teeth bleeds when I floss

Female Age: 30

Hey everyone! I brush my teeth twice a day (sometimes one if I fall asleep but normally twice) and I floss once a day sometimes twice. I use an oral b electric toothbrush on the lowest setting, and I I use act anticavity mouthwash once a day as required.

I noticed (can’t remember how long) that sometimes when I floss there will be bleeding in a specific area between two teeth, and nowhere else. Not sure if I should be worried? I have health anxiety and overthink a lot. I keep up with my dental visits every six months.

I don’t smoke and rarely drink, I take good care of my teeth. Maybe I’m not flossing correctly? I noticed that spot bleeding one morning when I woke up recently too. I also have a night guard that I occasionally wear due to TMJ. Thank you

Ovulated recently or about to and my discharge had specks of red in it. I have had slight right side cramping as well. Is that normal?

Hey everyone! I’m 30 and I get my period about everyday 24-25 sometimes 26 days. They last about 4-5 days and I am about 3 1/2 years postpartum. I’m not on birth control and don’t take any medication. Anyways I noticed that sometimes since giving birth, I have ovulation cramping and I sometimes get hints of blood in my discharge around my fertile time. I’m also bloated and my boobs are sore. Is the red in my discharge and side cramping normal around ovulation? I have health anxiety so I think that worst about everything. Thank you!

Old friend reached out and I wanted to know his intentions? Posted chart I generated a little over an hour ago [astro.com]

Hey everyone! An old friend of mine that I met in 2018 at my old job reached out to me a week ago for the first time in months, and we talked a bit. He asked to hangout but I don’t really give a direct answer yet. It was out of the blue and I wanted insight as to what his reason and intentions are? I was cordial and talked for a bit, but he hasn’t responded in 6 days.

Thank you

I’ve been feeling stuck in life lately and in a funk. Will it improve? [astro.com]

I feel like everyday is the same work sleep repeat and I’ve been anxious and not confident. My husband is on an opposite work schedule and we have one car, so I am always home. I’ve just felt stuck and in a funk lately overall

My husband and I set up our friends almost two years ago. Yes this is 100% real. Wanted other people’s perspective?

Hey everyone I (30F) I have been best friends with someone since we were little. She (29F) has had a few boyfriends and the first two relationships lasted about 2-3 years. In each relationship she avoids sex and she said that if she’s just going to have sex with someone all the time, that it may as well be friends with benefits and that going on dates and spending time is more important. She is a virgin (so is my husband’s best friend)

My husband and I set her up with my husband’s best friend (32 M) a couple years ago and this July will be two years. However my husband’s best friend confided in him and said that he’s starting to get frustrated because it’s been a year, almost two and nothing physical has happened. She isn’t religious and told me that she isn’t asexual. He said that he can wait until the wedding night but she keeps making excuses and the most they have done was kiss or cuddle.

He said that when they kiss she pulls back slowly and just stares and that the one time he tried to hint at getting in bed and she said no I’m good I need to pack for my vacation: I feel like he should communicate with her instead of talking to my husband because it’s personal between them two. He knew she was like this before and still wanted to get to know her.

He even casually mentioned proposing and he said she kind of acted like it was too soon (they’ve been together a year and he’s 32 and she’s 29). She inherited her grandparents house and when he asked to move in she said maybe sometime this summer, but she told me that it’s a big step and she’s nervous. She said that they will look at rings soon and she told him she wasn’t ready to get engaged. His parents invited her and her parents with them to Punta Canta a week ago because they thought he was proposing, and she said that she wanted to wait and she still ended up going on the trip.

She told him at times that she may be ready but then she makes an excuse anytime he brings it up. She told me she thinks he’s her soulmate. They’re both virgins and she told me she has no interest in oral with him either because it grosses her out. She also told me she isn’t into physical touch and it’s on the lower end of her love languages.

She said that sex isn’t the only important thing in a relationship and she’s going to be nervous and is afraid that it will hurt. I’m just worried because my husband and I set them up and I feel bad. His friend knew this before getting into the relationship.

I want things to work between them but July will be two years and he said that he hopes she’ll come around to it. He also told my husband that he is the only one who brings up sex and it would never come up if he didn’t mention it. I feel uncomfortable knowing this info but he is too afraid to tell her and tells my husband.

Edit to add: She’s told me in the past that she doesn’t know what she’s doing in the bedroom and has no experience, and that she’s afraid of it hurting

Update: My husband talked to him tonight and his friend said that she’s just playing hard to get and he’s taking it as a challenge… She gives him timelines on when she will do it and then when it comes to that time, she makes excuse. He told my husband that he tries to do more when they kiss she physically pulls back after a certain point

Will things be ok at work? [astro.com]

Hey everyone! I posted about this a couple weeks back but my supervisor did a virtual meeting between the two of us on Friday, to kind of go over a few errors that I have made recently. She wasn’t upset and I asked her if I was being written up or fired and she said no. I’m anxious and afraid to make more errors so I hope this gets better. It was a few small mistakes but I’m anxious. Happy Mother’s Day! Thank you!
