LGS has a “used” CR6920 with the “Carbine” rollmark and an Eotech 512 for a grand flat. I put used in quotes because honestly it looked extremely clean. The Eotech had some snail trails but no real blemishes.
I was really debating it yesterday but now I’m thinking I might want to go for it.
I feel like the value is there but maybe y’all can give me some perspective.
I feel like it would be a good base for some kind of M4 clone.

Doesn’t look like it’s touching the FSB at all. Alignment rod looks good far as I can tell.

Just picked this baby up. LGS just got a massive collection of milsurp from a regular and this was the one that caught my eye.
Not thrilled about the shellac’d stock, but it looks well done. Obviously not the correct finish but eh.
Such a clean, well made example. Has the flip up night sight as well.
Still got a ton of cosmoline to clean, but man I’m loving this thing.
Just got Black Iris today, absolutely loving it so far. The Iris in this is gorgeous and nothing like the lipstick-y Iris I usually smell in Iris based scents.
Purpose and Overture are my favorite the bunch. They both put me in SUCH a good mood when I wear them. I’d always heard people talk about that phenomenon with scents, but I didn’t experience it until I got these two.
Enclave I enjoy, though I find it a bit too sweet sometimes. When I’m feeling it, it hits hard.
Royal Tobacco is also great, though admittedly I need to figure it out a bit more.

Definitely traded a little too much silver for this… but I’ve always wanted an old 19.
This won’t be a super in depth review since so much has already been said about Royal Tobacco.
This is my third Amouage, all of which have been blind buys. This has worked in my favor so far and Royal Tobacco is no exception.
HOWEVER, there was a part of me that was kind of… put off at first sniff in a way that didn’t hit me with Purpose or Enclave. Truthfully I think that had more to do with me testing on paper than anything else. I truly think Amouage does not work at all on paper, it must be skin tested.
Anyway, like what seems to be the consensus, this is 100% a licorice bomb to start. It’s almost overpowering, genuinely, and very sweet. I get a very green vibe from the opening, almost like a prelude to the smoky tobacco, the green living plant peeks through.
At this stage, I got two very different experiences between paper and skin:
On paper: the most disgusting ashtray smell. Not gag inducing, but nauseating.
On skin: beautiful cigar tobacco leaf with a vanilla-like sweetness that never fully comes to the front. The spices (which truthfully I can pick out from the mix) help keep everything nice and dry.
Towards the latter half of the journey, in short, I essentially get a pleasant spiced amber. Really nothing more than that. Not disappointing, but that interesting.
What IS disappointing:
The performance.
Man, I read SO much about what a powerhouse is and in my experience that couldn’t be further from the from the truth. Maybe in the veeery first hour I could see this being very noticeable, but after that? Low sillage, low projection. Honestly, not great longevity for the hype in my opinion. It seems go through its phases fairly quickly and stick in the bottom note stage for most of its life.
It could be my batch, but whatever. I still enjoy it quite a bit and have been enjoying the wears over the last few days.
Anyway, If I had to give it a stupid number rating, I’d give it an 8.5
Worth a pickup if it’s your bag, but don’t be a dummy like me and never blind buy, especially not an Amouage.

First was Enclave… realistic spearmint and sweet incense. Absolutely blew me away the first time I time I wore it. Eternal longevity and a beautiful sillage.

I know they’re a very trustworthy discounter, but I just want to get some second opinions.
Only thing really throwing me off is the atomizer collar and the atomizer itself being different in color tone.
The atomizer is gold while the collar is more champagne. It’s noticeable in person, maybe not so much in photos.
EDIT: Maybe it’s intentional, pretty much every bottle I see has that same quirk, at least from the pictures of LCs on here
