With Great Power comes Broken Bearings!
Second 7mm bearing (axel shaft) bearing I have toasted since the roverin G2 and nsdrc rs100 brass at 8.4 volts 3s. About to go back to bushings on those two, lol.

Emperor Zorg(max) didn't like the n30p brass wires getting so close.
Finally got the 30 back up and running. Figured I'd tinker with the trx4m while I waited for meus to send replacement parts from the slow boats.
I'm torn between the two. The trx4m is too heavy for the 7kg these days. Debating on building a winch with the 7kg, lol.
Said 127 inside when I got in after sitting in the sun all day.
First. Happy flex Friday!
Trying to plan for as much forward weight as possible. Looking for some ideas. Lemme see what you got! I’m not dedicated to the tarantula chassis as I know I’ll break it and still have the INJORA lcg (may even find one with max lcg). Actually, what is the lowest CG chassis available?
Is there an stl somewhere for these damn things? Lost one in a nasty fall
Sorry. Not sure what it’s called now that I upgraded from stock brushed/esc & tx/rx combos.
Just trying to figure out my way around this nb4+ lol.
sorry for not providing details. i tried to create a post 4 different times and it kept failing. got frustrated

Trying to decide which ones to keep. Seems the female yoke/cups/ where they connect to the diffs and transmission are different.
Local crawling spot ( https://twiztedkrawlers.com/ ) claimed both my scx30 and trx4m, lol. It was the falls to the floor that did them in. Thinking maybe wider metal housings with shafts that actually match (not sticking so far out of the housing) would be a good start. Didn't know if you fine folk knew of anything I didn't know about.

Injora wheels
Treal +5 shafts
Injora shocks (one busted see bottom right)
Stock axel housings

We so often get the, "what's best for me" questions but I want to hear about what you salty digs would want. Your end game (if there is one).
First. Happy Flex Friday.
Finally got around to getting this fat viper combo and the flysky. Cogging like crazy. Took everything apart (which sucks on the turantula!) Checked mesh/seating/etc. Same. Disconnect front axel and she's smooth. Reconnect front and stuttering.
I hear conflicting solutions. Programming, change transmission gearing, change diff gearing. Is there a definitive answer to this or am I returning it to Amazon for something else? lol. Have a good weekend fellow crawlers!

THIS WORKED!
Even upgrade to FW version 2.20
https://github.com/am32-firmware/AM32/releases
AM32_AT32DEV_F421_2.20.hex is the firmware that i chose when flashing downloads tab ( https://am32.ca/downloads ) then applied U/Vegetable-Device5451 config bin!
How do you all stack this beautiful madness? I hear front forward bias is the way to go.
Morning all,
Just ordered an NB4+ to consolidate. Realizing that now is a perfect time to go brushless (no more 2 in 1 ESC).
Looking for recs for:
FlySky compatible receiver
Brushless motor with JUST an ESC.
First. You all have some phenomenal rigs. I know an indoor/course setup is in my future.
Now. What do you all using for beating around in the street or indoors? Phoenix area now has 3 indoor tracks but I can’t commit to making the trips (work/family/life). Have crawlers and bashers from the big 3 that I’ve modified enough to build the originals over. But now
TT-02D seems like a place to start but I absolutely defer to the experts of this sub.
I am not the nicest to my stuff. Especially my RC. Blast, bash, test limits. Who doesn’t love the fixing aspect?! lol. I leave these cars in my truck hoping for a quick bash session. The nb4+ seems well loved but I worry about dirt/mud/dust/extreme heat as I live in Phoenix.
Plan on getting into:
1/10 drift
1/10 clay/dirt
1/10 crawl
Have now:
Maxx wideV2
Granite brushless
Typhoon grom 223s
Trx4m
Scx30
Micro b
I’ve got an itch I need to scratch. Have a bunch of RTRs that I’ve modded a bunch of times. Looking at picking up an nb4+ , have a hobby wing quicrun brushless sec combo NIB. Think it’s time to get a kit. Something 1/10 or bigger. Thinking drift, crawler, or buggy, trail truck.

Are my local shops plus the Phoenix desert.
