First. You all have some phenomenal rigs. I know an indoor/course setup is in my future.

Now. What do you all using for beating around in the street or indoors? Phoenix area now has 3 indoor tracks but I can’t commit to making the trips (work/family/life). Have crawlers and bashers from the big 3 that I’ve modified enough to build the originals over. But now

TT-02D seems like a place to start but I absolutely defer to the experts of this sub.

I am not the nicest to my stuff. Especially my RC. Blast, bash, test limits. Who doesn’t love the fixing aspect?! lol. I leave these cars in my truck hoping for a quick bash session. The nb4+ seems well loved but I worry about dirt/mud/dust/extreme heat as I live in Phoenix.

Returning this x6100 I purchased last month. Gave her the college try but in the end, I just didn’t want to deal with something always being finicky.

Looking for a base station. I will say that the biggest selling point is built in networking, hdmi, and usb-c. Having three kids under 10 in a smallish house makes time at a station a premium without interruption and the shack is in the corner of their play area. Being able to go somewhere else seems like a breath of fresh air unless I’m hiding in the bathroom behind a locked door with one of the three banging on the door, lol.

I hear build quality isn’t what it used to be but I’m too new (January) to know what “used to be” was. but for my use case, it will sit in my server rack, locked.

Triggers are either on or off. No throttle control. Is there a setting or something I am missing or does the controller not allow for control?

ATUs. They can tune a hotdog cart blah blah (it’s actually pretty cool) blah. Can they tune other antenna? Say vhf/uhf/gmrs/etc?

Morning all! Absolutely loving my new maxx. Perfect pass servo comes in today. broke the mounting tabs on a full speed 25’ jump, lol. Anyway, living in Phoenix blah blah summers blah hot blah. Looking to prepare ahead of time. What has worked for you fine folk?

Not once but TWICE! Has this happened from Amazon. First one I bought used in "excellent condition. Wiring and motor looked off. Gorgon guts. Second one was "new." They didn't even bother to put it back together all the way. Kiddo is pretty bummed.

I am relegated to buying local but no one in Phoenix has them. LHS is Traxxas heavy and the next 3. Looks like a Maxx snipped to xt60/90 is in my future.
