Jason, Lucia and some other secondary characters were at a campfire at night in the swamp woods spending time, having fun but also talking about crime businesses. At a certain point a police vehicle arrives to catch em (same dynamic we have in rdr2 where body hunters look for you if you are wanted) and a shooting starts and the trailer shows a gameplay part with the shooting (the campfire part was a sort of cutscene i think). The shooting is very realistic and tactic: you have to study your moves choosing the next movements in the space of “war” in the dead moments ( the shooting i think adapts to the ambient and time you do it, in a swamp at night with only two agents and 4+ criminals, there is not a infinite shooting but npcs can choose to hide and then appear behind you for example). At a certain point swamp animals shows up and a cougar (yes its not a swamp animal but its a dream) attacks Jason which can Fight it just like in rdr2 to save himself. But plot twist: a velociraptor (still a dream ahahah) attacks Jason and the way you can free yourself from the animal adapts to the animal which attacks you. With the velociraptor its more difficult, you have to click more buttons in less time for example. The police takes advantage of the animals thing and arrests Jason and another character that it was not clear if she was Lucia or another one. At this point we have a cutscene in the police car during the trip to the police station where a police officer starts to say that “these woods are a horror place, there are a lot of legends of strange people and strange creatures walking through the trees at night” (refering to the velociraptor), with these dialouges the game wants to put a focus on the horror lore of the swamps which will be the paranormal part of the game. During the trip jason and the other (Lets call Lucia) kill the officers and take control of the car and here we have a gameplay part focused on driving and escaping the police. They escape and a cutscene starts with them saying “busy night… we need to rest” and the trailer ends.
