Curious how everyone here handles this. I've had kill switch on by default for months on my Windows machine and honestly never thought about it, until last week I was bouncing between home wifi and my phone hotspot a bunch and noticed every handoff there's this tiny window where everything freezes for a few seconds.

Not a huge deal but it got me wondering if I'm overdoing it. Realistically the only time I'm doing anything I'd care about leaking is public wifi or torrenting. Rest of the time it's youtube and steam.

So just leave it on all the time, or only flip it on for the stuff that matters?

I work in PR and relationship management and one of my clients is getting married, after 15 years and I genuinely cannot understand why it took so much time for them to get married. The thing is, he has been with his partner for 15 years. They have children, a house, careers basically an entire life together. From the outside, they were already more married than most married couples I know.

And now, after 15 years, they’ve suddenly decided to have an actual wedding. What changed?

I can't stop thinking about it. If you've already spent 15 years with someone and had children together, what exactly makes you suddenly think, “You know what? Now I want to marry this person”?

Been to a couple shows lately where the best track of the whole night was something completely unreleased — no ID, not on any setlist site, and the DJ just dropped it and moved on. One of them has been living rent-free in my head for two weeks and all I've got is a shaky 20-second phone clip with the crowd screaming directly over the one part I actually need. So what's your move? Post the clip to every ID thread and hope? Slide into the artist's DMs like that's ever worked for anyone? Hold your phone up to Shazam knowing full well Shazam has never once caught an unreleased track in its life? Or do you just accept it's gone and let it haunt you until it maybe surfaces on some livestream a year later? I've had a handful of these over the years and maybe one in five ever actually turns up. The rest just become ghost tracks I half-remember and hum slightly wrong forever. Curious if anyone's got a real success story of tracking one down, or an actual method beyond "record it and pray." And what's the one that still haunts you that you never managed to ID?
