any foolproof way to get rid of stretch marks?

(TLDR at end) to preface this: I don't care if you think thay they're normal, I've had them since I was 9 on my CHEST not in a cute area like my bum/hips or to show I've been working out etc...I ate my feelings and was chubby, and then lost weight all between 8-12 years old. I also had a growth spurt to 175cm in this time. I even have faint ones on my bum/hips somewhere idek but idc cos they're not in your face visible and they make sense there (photos taken with and without flash)

when I had "large" b00bs (sorry idk if things are censored here or not), having the marks was manageable cos 1 - it looked like the marks were from having a larger chest and 2 - no one is looking at marks when you have big jugs lol...now I'm back being part of the itty bitty titty committees (which I am so fine with especially after getting a lift with no implants/transfer just natural lift)

I am now in my early 30s and my very white marks ruin every top...I can't wear low cut, bikinis are a myth and even trying to find a tankini I have wasted so much time trying to find swimwear to hide and it's not only wasting my time, but I cannot be this age still have these abhorrent abominations on me. I can take the crooked discoloured teeth, the unruly hair and even the fact that I'm below average aesthetically...but my self expression that makes ME feel GREAT is through my style and how I wear things makes me feel confident...no one can say learn to love yourself cos I've tried for 2 decades and I cannot live like this anymore

I haven't been fortunate in the looks department generally, but I've worked hard to feel good about so many things I used to despise. I have wasted my prime years hiding and getting rid of these marks are truly the only thing that will bring me peace in my body. I have suffered for so long, people pointing them out, even my own damn mother (which made me crash out wildly cos it was her fault her own child was comfort eating but we move)

TLDR: I am fed up of my old, white stretch marks that are very visible on my chest and I need a foolproof solution absolute solution to get rid of them, especially as I am dark skinned (just saying laser isn't helpful, what kind of laser etc), I am an experienced tretinoin user on my face but I've heard microneedling and tret might be worth looking into..literally ANY foolproof solutions idc the cost

I'LL DO ANYTHING

I went on a walk for mental health and came back with my earbuds case missing and food poisoning

why do I fucking bother, just euthanise me already

I have 6 weeks off from a stressful job where from the outside, you couldn't tell how much I loathe my existence because the recipients of what I do couldn't be more grateful if they tried

3 weeks in and I've just rotted in bed... odd couple events here n there, live music cos I get to switch off from my sad existence. I've done nothing, not even rested cos the guilt I feel from not doing much has kept me stressed

I forced myself to go to this pop up market nearby and to get some groceries and woke up drenched in agonising pain and glued to the toilet at 3am this morning

so yesterday I tried to go a silly little mental health walk, tried some testers which I'm not allergic to (I confirmed), and was so unwell it derailed the day I had planned today to get my shit together and lost my earbud case where I have debated getting earbuds for years cos I am clumsy and scared I'll lose the buds...my backup pair isn't working and there's a heatwave so wearing my usual pair of headphones (that are also broken) isn't helpful (I have adhd so need that sensory control).

I am always trying to better myself and make changes and they either never work or I spend so long researching that my entire day goes away...I have the urge to just throw away all of my belongings and start again but I know I would get so much money from selling things but I can't

I am drowning, I can't end it all cos I can't put my only remaining relative through that again, I want to repeatedly hit my head against something or hit myself but I know I end up looking even more vile than I already do

no amount of medication can help me in not depressed I'm just useless in this existence and it is costing me money and energy I do not have anymore ...I reckon I could take fentanyl and just feel tired no relief from stress or this misery

90% of my problems would be solved if I had the money to have my own space/somewhere I can comfortably call home...I have never had that and I am suffocating and I'm too old to be still living like this

foolproof ways to lighten knees and elbows

I'm a brown skinned black woman in desperate need to make knees/elbows not look like they've been burnt - I am not a hater of my skin tone, nor do I want to be "light" so please save the "it's normal" comments, I am not interested

I moisturise and have used things like glycolic acid toner, hydroquinone, tretinoin...not as consistent as I probably should but I just want a sure fire way to actually lighten them. I've always been insecure of my legs as they already have so many scars, oddly shaped legs, and my leg hairs are black with lighter colour on my legs but I'd love to feel comfortable and confident

can I take 130mg of elemental iron in one go?

I'll do another post of my journey but I was wondering if it is possible to take 2x 200mg ferrous sulphate (2 x 65mg elemental iron) in one go or whether that is unsafe/anyone had any experiences

direct answers only TIA

are “luteal uglies” just conventionally attractive women briefly experiencing how differently people are treated without pretty privilege?

feeling ugly is a few difficult days for some...for us without pretty privilege, it is how we feel and are seen every damn day

for the record, I am not saying the hormonal changes are imaginary, or that they actually become unattractive...I mean that for a few days they may feel less desirable, less confident, less visible and less comfortable in their appearance, and experience that as a major disruption

for women who are not conventionally attractive, that feeling, along with the reality of being perceived and treated differently, is not a temporary hormonal phase...it is just everyday life

I got shared care (RTC to GP) and I'm annoyed about it

I did the RTC through Psychiatry-UK and my personal experience was nothing but positive.

Initially, my GP didn't bother to respond to the shared care request so I left it (and it meant I didn't have to pay and Psychiatry-UK, who are quick at responding, will continue to carry out whatever is needed). I know for some people shared care is the ultimate goal, but I am really upset.

Randomly, by doctors have decided to agreed to shared care, so I requested a repeat prescription as my medication showed up on the app immediately, and 3 days later...I need a medication review. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

Oh, and the closest appointment is TWO WEEKS AWAY and I'll have to pay now. I have been let down time and time again by the NHS and whilst I'm lucky with have the service, it's just another disappointment added to a plethora of misfortune (misfortune from crucial long wait times that everyone experiences, to near de*th experiences)

is there anyway I can get my GP to reject the care?

is there a way to get request for more medication in the meantime as I'll definitely run out despite requesting in advance, due to the flipping unnecessary medication review

London to Stonehenge

hey, I was wondering if anyone (preferably women like myself but also open) is going to Stonehenge solo (or with others) tonight for summer solstice?

I'll be getting the last shuttle from Salisbury station but I'm worried that'll be too packed or if the train is delayed (last train), that'll I'll be stranded in Salisbury as half 1 in the morning

I think I might have left a signed music poster that was rolled up on a bus and I'm wondering where I could go before going down the official process of lost and found, as the route (188) doesn't have a garage it terminates at/unsure of bus company

the bus departed New Oxford Street @ 22:51 on Thursday 30th April 2026

any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
