Audio Fake Detector Pro - New tool to test your lossless files

Not my program, but I ran across this on ASR. I have seen fewer false positives vs using auCDtectTaskManager. It scans via auCDtect first and then if inconclusive scans samples to verify frequency cutoffs. Give it a shot, see what you think.

https://github.com/alessandrocomito/audiofakedetectorpro/

Advanced audio analysis tool designed to detect fake and artificially upscaled audio using signal processing techniques.

Audio Fake Detector PRO is a high-performance audio authenticity checker focused on identifying fake high-quality audio files, including 320 kbps MP3s and lossless formats.

Audio Fake Detector PRO uses a hybrid analysis engine:

  • Spectral Analysis: detects frequency cutoffs, compression artifacts, and artificial bandwidth extension
  • Statistical Validation: verifies lossless authenticity using auCDtect scoring
  • Segment-Based Voting System: improves accuracy by analyzing multiple independent audio segments

What does auCDtect see that flags this 95% MPEG?

I've been debating if it is worth the time to run my FLAC files through auCDtect and/or LosslessAudioChecker. I ran a few through auCDtect and these 2 came back as 95% certain to be MPEG (not CD source). I have a full EAC log and cue for this rip. LosslessAudioChecker says they are clean. Tracks are from a 1986 CD release of Strength in Numbers (catalog #: CD 5115; DIDX 621) from 38 Special.

I know there is no 100% way to determine if a file is lossless. Is it just a waste of time to even use these programs? False positives in auCDtect and LosslessAudioChecker says they are fine.

TWS with good ANC, without overly bloated bass?

Looking for recommendations that have LDAC. Mainly for music with my Fiio M21. I am considering:

Sony WF-1000XM5 - refurb $150 USD

Technics EAH-AZ100 - $230 much more than I want to spend.

Soundpeats H3 $100 - seems like poor battery life, ANC is so so

DAP that can run Plexamp

I am getting back into DAPs after a few years out of the mix. Previously had a Cayin DAP that could poorly run Plexamp.

What is out in the market now that can run Plexamp without issue? FiiO JM21 or M21 work well?

Also, to get bit perfect audio, do you then need to run Symfonium too?

Manually created music playlist song order changing

Anyone else have this happen? I created several 1 to 100 song ranking lists. Going back a few weeks later some of the songs are no longer in the order they originally were. These are not smart playlists.

Is there a way to get them to stay in the order I set?

iPhone app stuck at loading 1 of 8

Called tech support and they can’t figure it out. Anyone else see this? iPhone 13, app version 2.1.0. Worked for a year before now. Have about 30GB storage left.

Restarted the phone, reinstalled the app.

Front Collision Detection Light Keeps coming on - 2023 Silverado

I’ve had this light stay on longer after the truck starts up, but has been going off in the first 10 seconds. Now it is staying on. Sensors look clean on the windshield, grille, bumper.

I read here to pull the F 11 fuse and reinstall. I did that, the light was working fine for a week and back at its issues. Do I pulled it again.

Anyone else having this issue? Also read here it may be a software issue. Thoughts?

I currently use plexamp but want to pop a cd in once in a while.

Anyone use, with any success, a USB cd player that can be plugged into the USB port in a newer Chevy vehicle (example linked below)? Using one of the USB ports that accept a USB thumb drive with audio files.

Alternatively I can try a Bluetooth transmitter on my discman.
