I like characters and relationships of various kinds. Violence is okay but series of shootouts and so on get boring when it just turns into an action movie.

I don’t enjoy main characters who are purely selfish or evil.

Also liked Chinatown, The Devil’s Advocate, Skeleton Key, that other 90s Catholic horror Southern Gothic movie similar to TDA whose title I can’t recall.

I just keep watching YouTube edits and animations of Dr. Murphy screaming he is a surgeon. I don’t watch the show. But it’s so dumb I love it.

There was a “Book Lovers Day” at a library branch I had never been to. Libraries near me never have any events targeted specifically to readers, so I was excited for this one. Called the library beforehand, they said it starts at 8 AM. I thought, okay that’s early but I guess they want a lot of people to be able to go.

I get to the town, which I had also never been to, and surprise: there’s a gate you have to go through. Gatekeeper asks for my pass. Turns out, to even get into town and access the PUBLIC library, you need a TWELVE-DOLLAR DAY PASS. Which I am welcome to purchase at the counter over there. 🙄 None of this had been mentioned by the library staff or their social media.

I said screw that and went home.

I happened to mention this to staff at a nearby branch, which is in the same system as the other one. According to them, the library was supposed to be open for the day because of the event, and the gatekeeper should have asked if I was trying to attend this book gathering.

And THEN!! I find out this same event ended at ten in the morning. So showing up at 9:45 would have been kinda too late anyway.

Thank god I didn’t spend twelve dollars for that bullshit.

It could be murders, child abuse, and/or government cover-ups. Anything where the main character/s have to solve a complicated mystery while battling influential people trying to stop them.

I've tried noise reduction: I put the compressor on and the threshold where I wanted it, then selected a few seconds of the white noise when there was silence otherwise and put on the reduction effect, as instructed by Audacity. But the noise lessened only for those few seconds. I want to apply it to the whole audio.

I have a video I want to upload to social media, where two people have microphones and another person speaking does not. This third person can be hard to hear, but I don’t want people to have to increase the volume and get their ears blasted by the other two with microphones.

“I’ll kill any cat I see outside” because they MIGHT catch a bird. I grew up with cats and we had one who occasionally got out. We went and got him back because we loved him and wanted him safe.

“Cats are invasive species!” You’re comparing apples to oranges. They’re house pets, were BRED to be pets if you did five minutes of research instead of parroting whatever you see online, and they belong in safe homes where they live longer, healthier lives. My cat never gets near any other animal because I go outside with him.

There’s no justification or excuse to take a life because of your ignorant assumptions. And assigning malice to a creature with the mind of a toddler is juvenile. Don’t you ever call yourself an animal lover if you act like this.

Slaughtering cats for existing won’t protect wildlife, but it will make us cat people hate you. We will defend any and all cats without hesitation so think about that next time you feel like stomping a homeless little one.
