A public channel to share your thoughts about the management, board, company that you work for

Hello Ladies,

Last week I was discussing with my colleague on some things that our board at a corporate company should be doing to keep ahead of the curve in the age of AI. That led me to an idea of writing a open letter to the board or the management of a corporate company publicly.

Presenting

https://openletter.ninja/

It is a fully anonymous platform to submit what you think the board or management should be doing in a company that you work for. Nothing is tracked and there is no singing for the website.

Enjoy adding your thoughts on what you think your company could do better to feel better, lighter about your thoughts.

Happy to get feedback and new feature requests.

Boomers not wanting to retire making work seem like a retirement home

Just started climbing the corporate ladder and a happy IC. Climbing in a thought leadership role and not a people management role.

All the RVPs that I am having meals with are 66+. No offence against age and ageism I will be there someday too but being in those conversations is depressing me. No wonder millennials do not have it together or climbing the ladder as boomers are refusing to let go.

Has anyone else noticed it?

I know life expectancy is increasing and everyone wants more $$, extend their social security but this is just making it harder for younger generations to even get a seat at the table.

Keeping up with all the AI products that are under the Google Gemini hood?

What is the best way to keep up with new product launches and their uses? Seems like their products are all over the place.

Flow has no connection to AI studio, no way of finding the labs projects in other spots other than that URL. Like how does anyone keep up? Maybe something I am missing out on?

AI created infographic slop is overwhelming

The infographics with excessive data that does not give any concrete information or makes one point with as many words as possible.

On LinkedIn all I see is infographics for everything suddenly even recruiters are making Job descriptions as a poster? Do I need it? Does it say anything other than you have an opening and there is a JD link which we can see. Does it have to be AI generated slop?

Social media for small businesses is exploding the same way. I have my own small business but I am hesitant to use AI unless I have any good information to share. But people are just creating crazy posters with AI which convey no information.

My brain is overwhelmed and zoning out the minute I see complicated posters and infographics.

Anyone else feeling the same?

Troubles at ServiceNow?

My entire LinkedIn Feed is filled with other companies providing ServiceNow solutions consultants and AE jobs. Yet there is no major news of layoffs?

Does anyone have more information about how many people were let go and why?

Flights cancelled by Air Canada - but available to rebook

I received an email that Air Canada cancelled my flights for end of June and got Airline credits.

When I went to rebook the original flight was still available and I was able to rebook on it without any issues.

Any idea on why something like this would happen?

I love Amex Platinum and I pay for it out of my pocket. I travel for work and I feel having lounge access is a game changer at some airports. Yes it's too commercial and everyone has their priority pass but at airports with Amex lounges it's a gamechanger and I love having it.

I use other benefits like the $200 credit for dining, hotel and airlines but do not use it to it's full potential with other offers.

What are your favorite credit cards and what do you like about them?
