Amidst all the Nana tributes, I felt like this would be the right time to recommend an underrated Nana gem. I have previously recommended it in the comments as well, but felt like it needed a post and no better time than now. Brilliant performances by the late greats Mohan Gokhale and of course Nana Patekar. Before Paanch, there was Maaficha Saakshidaar. I personally feel the killings in this film are far more chilling and impactful. The nuances in Nana's performance are a sight to behold and the climax was imprinted in my mind when I had first watched it 15 years back. Do watch this highly recommended and timely film if it has interested you. Thank you and miss you Nana 💐💐

Sparkling Dark Chocolate Medovik Cake from Harley's Fine Baking, BKC, Mumbai - The quality and taste was exceptional. Really appreciated the intelligent packaging and the candle with the pointy thing at the bottom and matches sent alongside it. My only complaint would be that for a 600g cake, it looked and felt small, especially at that price. Otherwise though, I wanted a unique birthday cake experience and I got one.

The creatures were terrifying, particularly the in-helmet and camera visuals and the found footage aspect was so well executed. Love Moon Landing conspiracy films, so this was an absolute treat. Not a smart move to watch in the middle of the night though lol. Other than that, I can't think of a single criticism for the film right now. The director making a sequel to Backdraft of all films is kinda funny. Shoutout to the climax reveal - exceptional stuff.

An adaptation of Gridman the hyper agent, this was a blast to watch back then - KiloKahn was the standard 90s villain, Tim Curry did a solid job with it, a banger title track and the character I liked the most was Tanker - Let's Kick Some Giga-Butt.

Calling out both the rider who did this stupid shit and the driver who didn't bother to throw it away and clean it up once he must have noticed after the rider went away.

Riders need to have basic civic and common sense to not do this (find a dumpster ffs or keep it in a plastic bag before throwing it away in the designated garbage place) and Drivers should care enough to clean it up (even if the mess was done by someone else) if they expect 5 star ratings.

Disgusting that my hand went into this while closing the door and then I realised what was in there.

The liminality and the sheer scale is off the charts

Solid food overall - Highly recommended if you stay in Goa or just visiting.
