Will these base products work well together?

I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and my base usually ends up looking sort of separated and dry around my forehead, nose and mouth (I have fairly normal skin, not overly dry or oily)

So I’m trying to find the best product combinations to use, any help would be greatly appreciated

If you also have any techniques or hacks for perfecting a smooth base, I’d love to hear them!

Are there any at home products I can use to reduce the warmth and brightness of my hair? - UK

The first image is my hair now and the second image is my hair straight out of the salon 6 weeks ago.

Of course salon toner fades over time with washes and hair naturally becomes brassier. Are there any toning products or colour masks I can use at home that will reduce the brightness and warmth of my hair and make it closer to the second image?

I've been looking at this Four Reasons toning mask in the shade Silver or Cool Sand https://fourreasons.co.uk/products/color-mask-toning-treatment-cool-sand?\_pos=1&\_sid=351c09e51&\_ss=r but I'm not sure how well this would work

If you have any other product recommendations or suggestions, I'd love to know :)

Looking for UK drugstore primer, foundation and setting spray recommendations (combination - normal skin) 🩵

I have a wedding coming up and would love to perfect my base for it. It’s going to be a warm, sunny day so I’d like something with longevity but I’d also like for the finish to have a more natural, dewy, healthy skin appearance, rather than something matte and “cakey”

All recommendations welcomed, even those that aren’t drugstore if you really think they’re worth it :)

I have an event coming up and would really love to perfect a glowy, even and long lasting base makeup - What are your recommendations for primers, foundations and setting sprays? (UK Based 🩵)

Concealer and powder recommendations are also welcome!

I posted here earlier today showing my current base makeup products and how they separate on my skin and leave me looking dry and cakey around my t-zone.

I would love any of your UK product recommendations, preferably drugstore brands that will leave my skin with a soft healthy glow while also ensuring it doesn’t budge all evening

If you have any techniques to perfect this type of base, I’d love to hear those as well!

For my skin prep I use the Purito Centella serum and then the Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Moisturiser and if I need SPF I use the Aveeno Calm + Restore Moisturising Lotion

Why does my base makeup separate and crack like this?

I’ve attached the products I use in the second photo.

Every time I wear foundation, it seems to separate and look very dry and cracked around certain areas of my face.

I have normal skin that isn’t overly dry or oily and have a good, simple hydrating skincare routine which I allow to dry down before applying my primer. I also allow each product to dry down a little before the next.

I’ve tried other foundations as well including the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2 in 1 and even skin tints like the Maybelline Super Stay and the Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter.

It seems that no matter what I use, or how little I use, my base always comes out like this.

This photo was only taken half an hour after application, it looks even worse by the end of the day.

I also get very creased and dry looking under eyes despite making sure there are no visible creases before going in with setting powder.

Sex life with ADHD partner

ADHD boyfriend doesn’t feel stimulated when sex is the same repeated routines/positions. He constantly wants to do more stuff and try new things because of the lack of dopamine when things become “routine”.

What can we try to spice things up? And how can I help him feel more stimulated?

UK products for fine hair that’s been bleached? More info below

My hair is very dry and frizzy since getting a balayage done (The images show my hair air dried) and the new growth/flyaways that I already had, are much more noticeable now.

What oils, leave in conditioners etc would you recommend for fine hair that usually gets weighed down and greasy with a lot of products?

Any other products or tips are welcome 🤍

Advice for scalp psoriasis: Routines and/or recommendations?

I was diagnosed with scalp psoriasis 6 months ago but have been experiencing it for about 5 years.

I've been using the products shown in the third and fourth slide but never really notice much improvement. When I do notice less scales, they come back worse within days of stopping the steroid solution.

I know there's no cure as it's an autoimmune condition but I'd really like to know if anyone has experienced any improvement or reduction in scales and itchiness as it's really bothering me now. Any diet changes that have worked for you? Different products? Routines?

I also have hEDS and MCAS if this is helpful, though I know these conditions don't directly cause scalp psoriasis

What’s happening to my skin?

I’ve always kept a very simple barrier supporting skincare routine, using the purito centella serum, the purito panthenol moisturiser and occasionally using 20% azelaic acid.

For the last few weeks these red marks and bumps have been appearing around my nose, mouth and chin. Sometimes it’s itchy, burny and stingy and some of the tiny bumps almost look like they have clear fluid in them.

Could it be perioral dermatitis or something similar? What can I do to fix this?

Just had my first balayage done and it's not at all what I wanted. What can I do? (See below for more information)

The first image is my after result

The second image is my virgin hair before

The third image is a close up of the blonde stripes going up to my roots

The 4th and 5th images show exactly what I initially wanted and what I asked the stylist for. However, she said that due to the natural warm tones in my hair and the fact that my roots were a much lighter brown shade to those in the reference pictures, I wasn’t able to have this style of balayage done. She said that the cool mushroom pieces would clash against my warm toned roots and any pieces of my hair that weren’t going to be dyed. Because of this, we chose some new reference pictures to work with.

The 6th and 7th images show the new reference pictures we chose. They had much warmer tones to them but still kept a lot of the natural darkness, depth and dimension running throughout the hair. The stylist said she would give me a result in between the 6th and 7th image.

My main concern, and why I originally wanted the cool mushroom colour is that I still wanted to appear mostly as a brunette or bronde with a good 60% of my natural dark colour remaining. I did not want a blonde result whatsoever and I explained this to the stylist several times, as well as the fact that I didn’t want any stripes or much highlight around the roots and I also wanted a seamless grow out. This was really important to me to ensure a low maintenance result, hoping to only get my hair redone once or twice a year maximum and even if I was to let my hair grow out longer I wanted it to still look like a seamless blend / grow out and not like two blocks of different colours.

Going back to the 1st and 3rd images, you can see the final result is not at all what I asked for. Not only do I have the stripes that I was so desperately avoiding but it’s SO blonde, and the blonde goes so high up as well, there’s barely any of my natural dark colour remaining. I wanted to still appear mostly brunette and now I look an awful yellow toned blonde colour which does not work for my pale skin at all.

* The salon said they could see me again next week to make adjustments to it but I don’t even know what to ask them at this point. Please help

What’s happening to my hair? New growth or breakage?

Experienced a lot of hair loss around my hairline during 2022-2023 due to long covid and stress, I have a lot of new growth coming through in this area but I also have shorter pieces all over my head, is this also new growth or more likely breakage?

Either way, how can I style my hair to reduce the appearance of all these small pieces? No matter if I blow dry it, straighten it, put it up in an up-do, all these small pieces stick out like I’ve been electrocuted 😭

Heard a lot of good things about the Similan Islands but have also seen that it’s a 2 hour drive to the pier and then another 2 hour speedboat journey so I’m not sure if this will be worth it or not
