I don’t know where else to ask this but I think my cat is sick so I’m trying to schedule an appointment with them because that’s where all our pets go. The thing is we called on Friday and today during their hours and their voicemail says they’re closed and to call back when they’re open. It doesn’t let us leave a message either. My dad emailed them and I tried looking online to see what’s up but I can’t seem to find anything. Hopefully my dad gets an email back but I thought I’d try Reddit too.

I feel like there’s no answer. I’ve hated the term woman ever since I was very young. I felt whenever someone described womanhood or being a woman to me I felt sick to my stomach because I hated how it assumed things about me and it made my biology sounded like an ultimate definer of how people see me despite who I actually am. But trust, I’m cis and I know it. Usually when I talk about this people always want to awaken me to me being genderfluid or something but when I really think on it I think it purely stems from experiences with misogyny and a world that thinks you’re inferior genetically.. so I dreaded getting older and being seen as a woman instead of a person. But the weird thing is I have always loved and felt good about the term girl. I think it’s felt less rigid maybe?

I can see why people find that term infantalizing because I have experienced someone using the term in a derogatory way but I think I have way more positive experiences with it then I ever have had with woman. Because when people would talk generally about women it was assumptions that I didn’t resonate with. The cultural expectations and the ways it flattens you just makes me so pissed off. And honestly I never liked how man sounds either but at least they have guy!! There’s no equivalent :/

The main reason I’m thinking about this is because when I’m trying to seek out some representation in higher roles I feel weird asking for “woman directors/animation/producing” I just feel its more complex then that. And I researched and it seems every single general term is heavily debated and it feels like there is actually no answer for a good general term for us. Every single other specifier term we have has deep issues and it’s depressing to me.

Gabriella’s ghostly groove was my favorite game as a kid and it still holds up. I’m surprised no one recommends it for people who are into rhythm games / cutesy games. I feel like it’s the type of game that really should’ve gotten a cult following but it just didn’t. I’m curious if there are any other games that others love and are surprised go under the radar

I like sam the most out of all the love interests but his cutscenes suck. Does anyone have a recommendations for mods that give sam more love. Preferably mods compatible with SVE.

I understand why it’s the order it is in vanilla because when you upgrade to gold you go from 9 tile coverage to 5 but for my gameplay having that 5 tile is just not helpful until I finally get iridium

The reward statues are not my fav look in game. I want them to be less bold looking. I’ve looked on nexus and there’s literally only one mod that retextures the statues which is pretty surprising to me. I’m hoping maybe I’m just not looking up the right thing are there are more out there. I might just make my own if I have to lol

I’m trying to print out some art of mine. Is there a method to double check the quality before I send it off to print? Sometimes the image is overblown so even when I calculate how big it can be printed it still looks grainy. Things are expensive so I just want to make sure so I don’t waste money.

So I am wanting to make some prints of my art to give to friends. I recently graduated and am feeling annoyed at how much chains want to charge for printing out posters since I used to be able to print so much at school for like 10 bucks. And paper really does not cost much. I wish they would let me supply my own lol. Anyways, I’m wondering if there are any local places that print at a more reasonable price than the chains. I’m willing to drive out of Tacoma too. Even Seattle since I have some friends I could visit up there while I’m doing it. Bonus points if they do stickers as well but it’s not a dealbreaker if they don’t.

I used to find it annoying how much it used up my arrows but now I have a very simple tactic. Enter through a chasm and stamp all the closest light roots while in the air (the glider set is always clutch during this part). When I hit the ground I equipped my miners set to light up the area around me. Then I avoid the red gloom and I only use the bright blooms when I’m confused about the terrain.

If you want a hint about getting the miners set: >!They’re in the depths’ mines in a pretty visible spot. I recommend setting your sensor+ to chests to make this part even easier.!<

If you want a hint about getting the gliders set: >!Look for the islands that spiral upwards with a skull shaped platform at the top.!< And here’s a 2nd hint: >!It’s not in a chest and you have to earn it.!<

TLDR: Enter through a chasm, stamp lightroots from the air (shout out to the glider set but you can do it without), when you hit the ground equip the miners set to light the area and use the bright blooms as needed to make your way towards the closest lightroot

I get rlly passionate about games especially when the UI makes no sense.. soooo I on my other Reddit account I posted on a sub for this game I love because there is a game feature that is so broken. Like it truly feels like it came straight from demo mode. So I made a list of how I would improve it and immediately I’m getting men telling me I’m being dramatic and that I wrote too much. JUST SCROLL DUDE, just scroll.. idk why they always feel like they need to say something. I wish there was a sub like this for all the games I love so people would take what I have to say a little more seriously.
