How do I handle seeing someone whose friend I hooked up with a year ago?

Ok this is an awkward one but I don’t really know how to handle this. I met a guy last year, went on a date and hooked up, have run into him a few times since. We have slightly overlapping events/circles so it happens.
Well recently, ran into him at another event and didn’t think much of it. Started talking to another guy there and exchanged numbers. He asked me out a little bit later and we went on our first date a week ago. It went well and we’re planning a second. Well I did a little IG digging (literally went back in some old posts) and saw some stories shared by both and pieced together that he and the guy I hooked up with our friends.
I obviously don’t want to lie to anyone but I don’t know if I should be volunteering information about this.

Day 8 negative rapid test but still symptomatic

My symptoms started eight days ago or so and today I tested negative on a rapid antigen test. I had gotten a positive test on day five and a faint positive day seven. It would be great except I’m still symptomatic- congested, sleepy, a bit warm (no detected fever though), and a light headache. Obviously I’m going to continue masking and resting but has anyone else experienced this?

AITAH for leaving a date 10 minutes before he arrived

I recently started to get back into dating after moving to a new city. Between meeting guys irl, Instagram and dating apps, I’ve had about 8 first dates and none have really progressed. Well anyway, I had been texting this guy a while - mainly floating plans back and fourth but didn’t solidify anything.

We fell out of touch a few days and he reached back out expressing interest in getting a date planned since he’d be out of town for a family thing for a few weeks. I decided to go for it, partially since I felt bad for falling out of contact. But we had enough chemistry it didn’t seem like a bad idea. He picks a spot, names a time and confirms the morning off. So far so good.

I dress well- heels and all since he chose a fairly nice spot. I’m out the door when he texts he’s running late. Fine, I can sip a drink or something at the spot. I’m closer to the spot and he texts he’s running more late. Again, I’m already there in heels and it’s one date. But I get there and it’s super busy. I ask about wait time: an hour and a half for inside table and an hour outside, no bar space. I let him know, he’s like wait i’ll figure it out. I text my friend and she says they take reservations and is actively checking to see if that’s still true. It is.

I’m ready to walk out and text him asking if he has one. He texts that he didn’t know they took him. I text him that I’m leaving and block him. He was 10 minutes away. I took myself to dinner instead.

Very tempted by the Kalita Linen top - how does it fit?

I'm tempted to get this top but wondering if anyone has experience with fit/sizing. My bust is a bit on the large size for the size 4 but can't size up for everything else. Is it pretty stiff, given that it's linen?

What is this response and why have several guys sent it?

Has anyone else received this sort of odd message/note. I had déjà vu when I saw it and swear I’ve seen this one or a close variant several times. At any rate a quick left swipe.

ASOS curve swimsuit did me so dirty I’m sobbing

Has anyone else tried their swimsuit bra sized tops? I figured they might actually work but oh god, they’re so undersized. I ordered a 30F UK/30G US and I needed like two more cup sizes. I can’t even share the pics, my chest vacated the top entirely.

I guess for reference I’m a 37-37.5 standing, 38-38.5 leaning, 30 loose underbust, 29 snug.

Last time I ever do that. If anyone has a recommendation I’d love it!

My driving anxiety came back a couple months ago and the weirdest thing helped

I've had a history of driving anxiety but for the past year, I've been in decent shape until the last couple months. For some reason, the anxiety got a lot worse. I'd start a drive and within 5 minutes, feel myself tightening up and starting to panic.

A few weeks ago, I started practicing French again with these audio tapes. They were pretty simple - the speaker would say something you either repeat or reply to in French. One day I took one on a local drive and noticed the anxiety wasn't escalating. I still felt the tension and nerves but it never escalated. I was focused on watching the road and thinking through the next thing to say in French. I've started doing them on longer drives, just to get me through the first 30 minutes or so.

I know it's not for everyone but having something that I have to think about it is immensely helpful!

Small band big cup baddies who sew, what’s the first thing you made?

I am suffering at the hands of my chest this summer and finally folding to get my sewing machine from my parent’s place. For those who started sewing (new items and alterations) what did you start with? I’m definitely a novice but so eager to learn!

If anyone has easy pattern recs for summer type tops/dresses that would be amazing!
