At some point Rick would notice Morty is gone and would try to go find him. If Morty had just laid low and waited long enough his Rick would’ve come looking for him and bring him back, preventing Sober Rick and his crazy family’s death.

Things still stay the same with Sokka and Katara finding Aang in the iceberg, only difference is that they find him long after the Fire Nation won the war against the Earth Kingdom.
How bad would things get if Zuko decided to keep the colonies under Fire Nation control?
How far would he get if managed to escape? Would he try and find any Ozai Loyalists to assist him in getting revenge against the Avatar and Zuko?
Say the military took control over the nation and declared Martial Law once they learn of Ozai's defeat. Even with both Ozai and Azula captured and Zuko against them, surely the army wouldn't just stop the fighting right there. They've been fighting this war for over a hundred years and had so much control over the Earth Kingdom, they weren't just gonna give it all up.
So yeah, how much longer do you guys think the war will last if the army continues the fight?
