What was the last metric that made you investigate further?

I’m curious about real workflows rather than tools.
Can you remember the last time a business metric
unexpectedly changed and made you investigate?

What was it, how did you notice it, and what did you do next?

Did you get alerted, notice it on a dashboard, see it in a spreadsheet, or hear about it from a customer?

I’m interested in understanding how founders actually discover problems in their day-to-day work.

Curious how other SaaS founders do this?

Every morning I find myself jumping between multiple tools to figure out if anything important happened in the business yesterday.

Revenue, signups, churn, product usage, support tickets…

Sometimes nothing changed, sometimes something did, but it still takes time to piece everything together.

What’s your process?
How do you know if something important needs your attention?

Do you actually check dashboards every morning?

I keep hearing that founders are data-driven, but I’m curious what people really do.

When you start your day, how do you figure out whether something important changed in your SaaS business?

Dashboard?
Slack alerts?
Reports?
Gut feeling?

What works and what doesn’t?

How do you recruit users project usability tests?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a UX/Product Design portfolio project and I’ve run into a challenge that I’m sure many designers have faced.

I can design, prototype, and document the process, but recruiting participants for usability testing has been surprisingly difficult. I’ve tried reaching out through Reddit communities and personal contacts, but getting people to commit even 15–20 minutes for a test has been a struggle.

For those of you who work on portfolio or side projects:

How do you recruit participants?
What channels have worked best for you?
At what point do you stop recruiting and move forward with the project?
How do you handle validation when access to the target audience is limited?
I’d love to hear how others approach this problem.

Thanks!

Campervan enthusiasts help me

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for 3–5 campervan enthusiasts to participate in a 20–30 minute usability test for a study project.

The project focuses on a campervan website and configuration experience. During the session, you’ll be asked to complete a few common tasks and share your thoughts while navigating a prototype.

📅 Date: June 17, 2027
🕚 Time between: 11:00AM-16.00PM (CET)
💻 Remote (Google Meet)
⏱ Duration: 20–30 minutes

No preparation is needed, and there are no right or wrong answers. I’m interested in understanding how real users interact with the experience.

If you’re interested in campervans, van life, or have researched buying a campervan before, I’d love to hear from you.

Please leave a comment or send me a DM if you’d like to participate.

Moški, kako nosite stvari poleti

Mene vedno poleti moti kako naj vse stvari nosim sabo.
