Hi everyone! I wanted to share a little passion project I’ve been working on.
I grew up loving old-school 90s fantasy RPGs - the kind where you’d spend hours wandering quiet villages, listening to beautiful music, exploring forgotten ruins, and just existing in the world after you’d finished the main quest.
I wanted to capture that feeling, so I created Saint Dante: Fables -a “lost” 16-bit RPG that never actually existed. It’s an ambient video presented as if it were running on a fictional 90s console, complete with a title screen, retro UI, and slow, nostalgic pacing.
It’s less about combat and more about the feeling those old games gave me - the sense of adventure, mystery, and peace.
If you grew up with SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis, or other classic fantasy RPGs, I’d genuinely love to know if it captures that feeling.
