Many a films have shown someone smashing a controller, irrespective of what we see on the game side - sometimes it’s a Mortal Kombat or COD esque game, but actors and kids tend to do “smash every button as fast as possible to make it look like I’m gaming so hard”.

I wanna know what’s the worst of the worst offenders? Who owns the single worst “this person seemingly never played a game in their life” scene?

I am able to kill most bosses within 10 to 15 seconds but I do feel like I either don’t have enough max life or I have an opportunity to do more damage or maybe it increased movement speeds

I don’t have a ascendancy points five and six

Ignore the thing about fire damage it’s at 75%

I’m 41 and grew up with the original cast double CD. Saw the show in the 90s as a kid four times. Loathed the Hooper film. Had no expectations for whatever this was going to be.

Can’t reset cunning spirit physique so I’m a wee bit screwed there

I’ve been enjoying my witch hunter build using dreeg but after a while it can feel a bit repetitive. As I look into a second character, I’d like to move away from that but don’t want to land in the territory where I’m just spamming every key either.

How do you find the balance in your builds where they’re both viable for endgame content, not too repetitive but also have some rhyme and reason as to what you’re pressing hotkeys for?

I’m relatively new to the game but have been leaning into any green damage gear I can find coupled with eye of dreeg, pneumatic blast, blood of dreeg.

How will this fair end game? I’m at level 26 and thus far the dot damage of poison/acid is fairing well. It is kind of repetitive though but hopefully making my way towards manatee will vary things up

I’m only on act 2 and a hybrid occultist nightblade doing poison / acid but really not enjoying or using much of nightblade

Any mod that will not fuck up the game severely to reset my second class?

Side question while I’m here: I know it’s graphically an older game but I don’t have a high end computer - which visual settings are most important to crank to ultra or high?

I got Sikarugir to work for my Mac so I am finally kind of a pc gamer.

I have been LOVING grim dawn. Sure the story is shit but the amount of build choice, the lack of FOMO and depending on player trading feels really refreshing. I also think the game setting is really cool and a nice change from POE and Diablo

What other recommendations do you have based on what I like?

Seeing a lot of AAA recs but curious what indies you’d recommend!

To be clear, I start my formal marathon training program on July 1 each year. And though I do well in short distance running (6min13 mile, 22 min 5k) I’m not a great marathoner - last year was 4:51 and the year before was 5:04

For various life reasons I haven’t been able to run consistently the first half of the year. This month I’ve ran about 30 miles and was due to do a 10k in my informal training but I’m under the weather. That being said, I’ve never been one to do extreme mileage during my training - looking at Runna last year, my summer months were July 53/ August 85/ September 89/ October 91

Sorry for the over share but do you think I’ll be ok? Muscle memory and all that jazz (I know not a thing here)? I don’t think I’ll break my 4:51 but I imagine I can still get it going and finish

What would hook me from the beginning but also be a worthwhile long term choice?
