Had to trace the head shape because it'd be most accurate that way, but everything else like the eyes and ears were all freehanded.

This one counts as three separate artstyles but all are by the same guy.

The first one is based on the artstyle for Final Fantasy 7 (1997). Specifically, I wanted to recreate the character portraits as they appear in PS1; that's why it is pixelated.

The second one is based on Tetsuya Nomura's artstyle from Final Fantasy VIII to present day. Specifically, I took heavy inspiration from artwork for Dissidia.

The third one is based on Nomura's character artwork for The World Ends With You, which is similar to his typical artstyle but more angular and less detailed with a lot less shading.

Idk if it's because it's almost summer or whatever but this entire album has deadass been on rotation for me and like I never go back to this album ever up until this point

In a previous post I did I made a concept/prediction for Smash 6 roster. Here I wanted to do some stage predictions I think will be in the next game while also updating my previous roster.

STAGE NOTES:
-Because the new Star Fox game is a remake of 64, I think it would be poetic and rly cool for Smash to bring back Sector Z from Smash 64 in the style of the new Star Fox game while also differentiating it from Corneria. The image I don't think is from Sector Z but since the game just got announced I gotta wait until there's better shots of it. On the topic of SF, I think all of the SF64-themed stages (Corneria, Venom, etc.) will be updated to match how they are in the new game.
-Where's Forgotten Land stage bro??!?!? I could see it happening tbh esp since we know Sakurai is more open to modern day Kirby and its characters (as we saw with Air Riders roster) but I think Sakurai is gonna add 1 Kirby stage personally and Sakurai bias gonna be Sakurai bias haha. Also we don't have an Air Ride-themed stage yet.
-I'm not super knowledgeable on XB3 or Splatoon so I just picked two areas from the recent games. They are placeholders to be honest. But I do think we'll get XB3 and S3 stage. Whatever that is though is up for someone who is a fan of those games to tell me what's most likely.

ROSTER UPDATES:
New Additions: Daisy, Squid Sisters and Ring Fit Trainee

Daisy was cut from my original roster cuz she was an echo but I think if any echo is returning its her due to how much Nintendo has been pushing her lately as a mainline Mario cast member. Also maybe we could see some updated moves to make her more of a semi-clone like Falco or Roy.

After talking to someone recently about Splatoon's representation in Smash and how it'll be in Smash 6, I think a Splatoon character is super likely now due to just how popular that series is. A lot of people are sayin Octoling and while I think that's a good prediction I picked SS because I thought they'd be a more original character (and also I just like them more).

Finally, I simply forgot to include RFT in the original roster. They were planned from the jump I just forgot lol. But I do think it's happening; its the latest big hit Nintendo IP and serves as a cool footnote in history. The 15 mil RFA sold justifies their inclusion

UPDATE: Hypothetically, Daisy will not be cut here. She's way too popular to remove imo. She will be de-cloned I think. Also, Ring Fit Trainee will be here. As people pointed out, Persona 5 IS on Switch. I still would cut him tho sry

Reasons for the cuts:
Daisy, Dr. Mario, Dark Samus, Pichu, INcineroar, Lucina, Chrom, Dark Pit, Ken, Richter: All echo fighters/clones. There are def some clones left in the roster like Falco, Roy, Wolf, etc. but:
-Falco is a lot different than Fox in terms of moveset, personality, etc. and has felt less of a clone. Plus he's a super popular character. Also I kept Wolf because he's a good villain.
-Roy I was back and forth on but I think he should stay because Smash 4 de-cloned him a bit and they can change his appearance to the classic Binding Blade design to make him more interesting and faithful to FE than his more Smash original design.
If ANY echo comes back it'd fs be daisy tho because lets be fr ppl love daisy more than they do peach. I prolly should add her back to this list as I'm typing.

-Incineroar, while a cool character, to be honest really only exists in Smash for his moveset which was obviously meant to evoke Zangief. Sun and Moon is my fav Pokemon game, but we're in Gen 10 right now. Yeah, Greninja and Lucario are here but those are THE most popular Pokemon of all time (plus they recently got games in the form of Legends Arceus and Z-A). Incineroar isn't really relevant anymore.

-Corrin is from a forgotten about Fire Emblem game and perhaps one of the more forgettable characters on the roster. None of the non-Marth characters are "necessary" additions for the next game but Corrin definitely isn't one of them.

-Snake I think probably won't be in the next game. While Konami is fine with Metal Gear Solid again thanks to Delta I think he's not really a mainstay; he was cut before. I think Konami would probably have someone like Simon in the roster instead.

-Joker, while cool in Ultimate, I think is just a one-time thing. Persona 5 was huge in the 2016-2018 era and did get a Switch port, but Atlus surprisingly stopped milking P5; we got Reload and P4, plus P6 is inevitable. Joker is not like Cloud; all of the games from P3 onwards are all pretty much equally popular now.

-Hero I think was just trying to promote DQ11 and I think because the default Hero is Luminary then it'd be weird to have new games for DQ come out overtime and yet the Luminary is still the face you see when u see Hero. This could be avoided by making the default Erdrick but that'd be kind of weird ngl

-I think Cloud is enough for FF7. I would've cut Cloud too but because FF7 Remake is on Switch 2 and Rebirth is gonna be on Switch 2, Cloud is a lot more likely now. Squeenix has been a lot more trusting and chill with Smash recently. I'll also touch on why I kept Sora around; because Disney wasn't the issue it was Square, specifically Nomura. Since Nomura conceded, I'm sure Sora will be a lot easier to bring back

I put OoT and Minecraft here cuz they are apart of my top 3, but for me, it is Final Fantasy 7, and nothing comes close to its soundtrack

This soundtrack is like 60 tracks long and there is absolutely not a single forgettable or mediocre song on it. It is 60 tracks of magic. Main Theme, Tifa's Theme, Opening Bombing Mission, Electric de Chocobo, Hear The Cries Of The Planet, Aerith's Theme, Battle Theme, Costa del Sol, its all incredible.

I'd be curious to hear other opinions on this. Im also open for more detailed explanations. Im particularly a fan of music theory in video game OST.
