Why can’t people just accept one simple thing that excellence demands merit.
You can’t keep killing merit in the name of social justice. Period.
Social justice can be done in other ways and in different spaces.
I genuinely don’t understand the selective outage that is there. People were not bothered of the previous 2 suicides that happened .
But in this case, simply because the student came from the SC, they have left no stones unturned to create havoc.
Just few weeks ago, people were banging their head against the wall to ensure fair conduct of NEET exam.
And suddenly, they are absolutely fine about cheating in an exam just because the student is a categories candidate??
And why do people not consider other possible cases such as - maybe the student had a mental health issues or he could not handle the academic pressure or as some of his friends claimed that it was the pressure from his parents that he could not withstand?
Just right away made the claim that the professor is casteist!! Whatttt the hell?!
People are okay with the misuse of the act!
Am I unnecessarily making it about caste?

People worry about paper leaks because they think less-qualified people might become doctors through cheating.
but don't seem equally concerned when reservation allows less-qualified candidates to become doctors while higher-merit candidates miss out.
By bringing in RESERVATION in EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, DEFENCE, SCIENCE, and RESERACH, you are not uplifting the “backward community”…..
You are only doing great DISSERVICE to the HUMANKIND!
To uplift the backward section of the society, there is a need to look beyond reservation.

The fact that candidates who consistently scored less in their 10th 12th and graduation, end up scoring hundred percentile or 99.99%tile in MBA MAH CET…… that too multiple people does raise question on the credibility of the exam conducted!
One or two OUTLIERS are understandable, but the fact that in the exam where even the students who have been consistently good in their 10th 12th and graduation struggle getting higher percentile….such OUTLIERS seem more like the BENEFICIARIES OF THE SCAM THAT HASN’T BEEN BUSTED YET!

I don’t even trust the police proceedings that happened last year concerning the MBACET scam!
Ensuring that there are no other state centres does not prevent the scams happening within the state!
And I don’t think anything was done to address that issue!
It looks more like things happened on the surface and nothing in reality changed!

In 2003 the CAT paper was also leaked!
No exam LEAK has happened ever since in CAT.
And then, after few years in 2009, the exam moved to a digital format.
At least the IIMs and other management schools took the accountability to conduct the exams fairly, unlike the shitty NTA :)
NTA has one job and that also they don’t do well.
I remember appearing for CUET for BBA courses, and guess what - the questions were jumbled!
Reading comprehension, data interpretation, Quants and logical reasoning, all mixed up. Forget sectional …Even the RC sets and DI sets were jumbled.
So yeah, we MBA ASPIRANTS got LUCKY in a way :)

It was no where near the difficulty of first attempt !
I already registered for CFA level 1 in the month of January and will be appearing for the exam in the month of August.
The problem is that in the admission offer letter, it is mentioned that one cannot be part of any other course or appear for any other external examination while being a student at XIMB; moreover it can lead to cancellation of registration.
So regarding the same, I wrote an email questioning my eligibility; because only after that, I will go ahead and make the payment. It has been over 10 days, and I still haven’t received any response from their end. I even made calls, but nobody is receiving.
So if anybody from XIMB, please answer whether or not, should I proceed with the payment?
Every now and then there is the same pattern, the states just want to keep on increasing the reservation to appease certain sections of the society!
I remember few years back, Haryana brought in reservation in private sector up to 75%.
It was only Punjab Haryana High Court that thrashed it stating it unconstitutional. Otherwise we would have had reservation in the private sector in our country.

We see similar pattern happening in Rajasthan and now in Odisha (they increased reservation in the technical courses like medical,pharmaceutical, MBA, engineering etc, these courses demand knowledge and skillset; not your caste!), and so many other states, who just want to keep increasing reservation!!
The ones living in the rural area. The ones who are actually backward , have no idea of reservation and the government schemes that are there for them.
It is only the creamy layer within the SCST and OBC community that are reaping the benefits of reservation generation by generation!
Even when they are WELL-TO-DO , they do not let go of their reservation!
And this is problematic because there is scarcity of resources a.k.a. when there are limited resources, you have to make space so that others can come in and uplift themselves, but that is not happening.
As soon as you try to bring in the creamy layer, they will start protesting, stone pelting and worse case - will literally set the country on fire! but not understand the reasoning behind it.
When you have limited resources, you are supposed to put that to optimal utilisation to get maximum output!
**No matter what logical arguments you present, their only counter argument is to bash the Brahmins or in general, the so called upper caste community!**
If they were really worried about the backward community, they for sure would have come up with other better ways to uplift them, and not just stick with one political gimmick that tends to sway the entire community to vote for them. Be it any political party.
Please this post is not to hate any community in any way.
The fact that all political parties; be it BJP or CONgress, they use reservation as a political tool! Infact history says BJP does it more for eg; Mandal commision to bring in OBC reservation, EWS, recently see why they did in Orissa.
So basically we have no party working for us general category! IRONICALLY BJP is called “BRAHMIN BANIYA party”. 🤌🏻☠️
We have a problem with the way - The system is exploiting the unreserved category in the name of uplifting the others!
where in reality, they do no real work on ground. Neither of the parties are true beneficiaries other than the system itself.

Never in the history of independent India did any community ask for separate electorate!
The so called Dalit politician knows what he is doing, the way he is exploiting the sensitive issue for his political gains!
That dalit leader knows the repercussions of the demand he had put forth in the parliament.
But obviously, I as layperson can’t say much or do much. (Iykyk!)
