ISO : any decent 50mL sunscreen

Hello reader,

I need any decent sunscreen (30-50mL) that anyone wishes to declutter. I don’t mind if it’s opened/unsealed as long as it has the above quantity of product left. Just anything with good enough filters (spf 50), preferably upto Rs.500. Can go a bit over this, just make your best offer please and thank you

How can I apply to both SA and Off-Cycles for the next cycle given that most BBs limit applications to 1 or 2 for a single cycle?

Hi all!

I’m in the EMEA region and am graduating in summer, 2028. I’m in the process of applying to summer analyst positions for 2027 but I’m worried about how to go about applications.

  1. I wanted to apply to both IB and Markets. I wanted to apply to both because IB requires very little technical prep but ik the chances are slim and I’ve been preparing for S&T for a while now.

  2. I have the option to opt for a gap year before my last year so I was going to apply to off cycles as well. Given this, I don’t understand how I can apply to both since most banks specify a limit to how many programs one can apply to in total for a given recruitment cycle.

It also sucks because the limit is the lowest for programs in the EMEA region. For instance, for BoA, they say you can apply to 3 programs in the USA/Canada region, 2 in the APAC region and just 1 in EMEA

Does anyone have any insight into how this works? I’m surprised because a lot of people I know from the previous years applied to multiple roles. Last year I assumed they ignored the application limit but when I’d tried to apply to more than 1 or 2 programs, firms like BoA, Blackrock etc do detect duplicate applications so I don’t think it was that either

Any Korean or Japanese sunscreen recs available in India? (My budget is Rs.1700/100mL)

Hi all,

I’m moving to Europe and would like to stock up on Asian sunscreens before leaving. I’ve used European/French sunscreens and though they were good for sun protection, the wearability and texture doesn’t compare to the Japanese sunscreens. These products are even more expensive and difficult to find there so I’d like to take a few with me.

I’m having trouble finding good Japanese sunscreens that don’t require me to import them from Japan with a 1500Rs. shipping fee. I’d used the Nivea water gel a few years ago and it’s still the best sunscreen I’ve ever used.

My skin is combination and I’d like a preferably chemical sunscreen with no white cast that’s lightweight. Does anyone have any recs for the budget I mentioned that are available on Indian websites?

Is anyone using minoxidil + finasteride as a preventative measure?

Hi all,

I’m currently on 7.5 mg. I’ve been on tirz for over 8 months now but haven’t lost as much on the lower doses. Now that I’m finally on the dose that’s working well for me, I’m noticing more hair fall. It’s not life ending but I’m afraid of reaching a point where I’ve lost 30-40% of my hair because it’s not very thick to begin with.

Has anyone started using min/fin as a preventative measure? Do you notice any difference?

Anyone applying to 2027 internships in the Middle East?

Hi all,

I’m a student at a top target in Europe and am looking to apply to summer/off-cycles in the Middle East next year

I haven’t been able to find any concrete info on timelines online unfortunately. Does anyone have any rough ideas about the timeline? Also would be interested in connecting with others who’re looking to apply

I want to be cured of this terrible disease that’s making me shed tears for the person that’s brought me nothing but misery for the past 6 years

It’s 3am and I’m crying because the person that’s abandoned me 7+ times over the past 6 years that I’ve known him has abandoned him again.

It’s like this disease is a brain virus that erases any ounce of rational thought I’m capable of having in many moments.

I know I shouldn’t have trusted him, I know this person is a terrible FP for me. He’s brought me so much misery in the last 6 years, it’s unreal. There was a 1.5 year period where he did not have any power over me but then he came back and I trusted him again. We’re not even dating and in the last few months I’ve lent him money multiple times, money that I could not afford to spend. He hasn’t paid me back, he hasn’t even brought it up.

And now he’s abandoned me again. I know this as I’m typing this that if he sent me a text rn, I’d be willing to drop everything and help him again. It’s disgusting how much power he has over me and there’s nothing I can do about it.

Please help me find this shade for my mom. It’s out of stock everywhere 😭

It’s out of stock on Myntra, Amazon, AJIO, Nykaa, Tira and purplle. Flipkart and BigBasket say that this specific shade is not deliverable to my location.

The only website I saw it in stock was Pixies and turns out they don’t have it as well (I don’t know how to contact them to get a refund now 💀, they won’t reply to emails)

I’ve been checking these websites for the past 2 weeks and I could never find it in stock. Please Help 😭

A lot of you need a doctor’s prescription, not another serum

Adding pictures for your entertainment. The first 2 photos are from 10 minutes ago, the last 2 are from 5 months ago (I don’t have good before photos because i have body dysmorphia and only click pictures to self loathe)

Disclaimer: Everything here is my anecdotal experience and I don’t endorse any clinical treatment for others (though I’m more than happy to substantiate any of the claims with clinical research)

Because I don’t gatekeep and am a D1 gate opener: now my monthly skin care routine costs me Rs 100/month ( prescription birth control that costs Rs 55/pack and a prescription 0.025% T (I don’t know why I can’t write the word in the post but it’s the elusive vitamin A derivative)). 6 months ago it was benzoyl peroxide + azelaic acid + glycolic acid every month or so and a few of those hydrating serum thingies.

I was reluctant to doing anything medical about this situation for the longest time ever but after a few months of research I realised that there’s no way out of this without prescription meds. Most of us don’t have acne because of dirt, diet or allergies, it’s because of hormonal imbalance. I have PCOS (PMOS now, not that the standard of treatment has changed). A lot of advice around this would revolve around eating better, making lifestyle changes etc and while that is true, PMOS manifests in 3 ways:

  1. Hyperandrogenism: High levels of androgens
  2. Anovulation: Ovaries fail to regularly release mature eggs
  3. Metabolism

The third is just insulin resistance and that’s a different topic altogether (it makes it difficult to lose weight) but for me the primary manifestation was 2 (which is the case for a large majority of PCOS folks). Anovulation causes hormonal dysregulation and won’t be fixed by your basic everyday lifestyle changes, as hard of a pill that is to swallow. There is nothing wrong with going your entire life without fixing that hormonal imbalance but then I suppose you need to weigh the pros and cons of hormones for yourself.

It was quite a journey and i know it’s not the easiest to seek medical help in India. The first gynaecologist I went to scolded me for my lifestyle and expressed concern over my infertility and inability to give my future husband children (i was 20 at the time and this was a doctor at our college’s medical center, which just so happens to be an old IIT in a tier-2 UP city so idk what made her think that was my ambition in life at that point). The second gynaecologist I went to prescribed a BC that made me bleed for 3 months straight. Finally, Gemini and I were able to figure out the right BC pill for me and I got it prescribed by 1mg/pharmeasy (because my actual gynaecologist said she only prescribes one type of BC to people my age, even if it makes someone bleed to the point where they need a blood transfusion). Things have been really nice since then and I’m not in debilitating pain for 10 days a month, every month.

Outside of these 2 things, I don’t really have any upkeep as far as skincare is concerned. I use a really basic moisturiser, a hydrating face wash without any active ingredients and pharmacy sunscreen when I do touch grass.

Thank you for listening to my ramble. I’m manic and can’t sleep

How does Skechers not have UK size 8 for women in India? I’ve checked all websites and UK7 seems to be the last size for women. Is this a misunderstanding?

I don’t understand why yeast protein is as expensive as whey protein?

All the fermented yeast protein brands (SuperYou, Mille, Cosmix etc) have priced their protein powders to be nearly the same as whey, which doesn’t make any sense to me?

I don’t buy whey protein because I’m vegan and not on some muscle building journey so the PDCAAS score isn’t something that keeps me up at night.

That said, very few people in India are vegan so I can’t understand how these companies are able to maintain these prices? Why won’t people just buy whey instead? Whey is also expensive because of the constraint on the amount of ingredients (and it’s expensive everywhere around the world) but I don’t understand the case of yeast when the cost of production just isn’t high
