This was the makeup of one of my finals exams for my makeup course! This year I struggled a lot with problems concerning my private life. I had to work a lot and I've gone through a lot of changes that ultimately left me exhausted and so depressed. I feel super proud of myself because I finished the course even though I was not fully feeling myself and I was scared to the bones but I still went through it! This year I honestly did a lot of stuff without knowing what the F I was doing and for me that is impressive. I used to be a kid that was scared of failure aka trying new things without knowing if I was gonna be able to do it perfect on the first try. So if you can relate to that and for the longest time you've been wanting to try something new but you are scared of not hitting it perfect on the first try I encourage you to just do it! Learning something you are interested or feel passionate about is something you do with time and making mistakes!!⋆˙⟡ ⋆.˚ ⊹₊⟡ ⋆
The topic for this specific bodypaint exam was seasons. I created this beast inspired by the melancholy and lethargy of winter—the feeling of premature death, suffering, and entrapment that precede the arrival of spring. I created the concept for this makeup look, the styling and the latex bald cap that I also embellished with fur and black hair. ݁⋆⭒˚.⋆

I did this makeup look for a friend the other day using watercolours and some latex prosthetics i did!
For this look I really got inspired by spring and the flower bloom wich reminded me of little explosions that i wanted to embody in this purple creature!
I used latex and cotton to create the bald cap and the structure of the explosions/flower petals for the head and the nose. (It was my second time doing a nose prosthetic so I was a little anxious)
The first idea was to cover the flowers with purple liquid to make it look like the creatures blood was coming out of it but at the end i didn't have enough time!

To do the Bald cap I first created and structure with whire and then I attached it to the baldcap with more latex and cotton. Finally I put a little green iridescent ribbon I had to create the fins effect.
